Not sure if there is this "who is the loudest" competition. But a few cars were blasting away music from their car and some showed off their very new speakers. Wow, very impressive sound system. I was thinking that they may be some smart sound system vendors showing visitors their products and doing some promotions there.

Here's one car with great sound system:

Another VW showed off its engine.

It must be a new engine, otherwise, it couldn't be so clean and shiny, right?

I think it is the same Volkswagen engine except that it is all chrome-plated.

of course not ... the people who have this hobby with cars actually spend a lot of money re-doing their cars. The engine cannot be "polished" or chromed to that state. Obviously everything is a new part, specially sourced by the hobbyist

I rebuilt and refurbished a 1600cc 1976 model when I was in Brunei. It has a chromed engine too with double Weber Carburettor unit. I have some photos which I will share one day.

    Its painted in British Racing Green and it has a name too - G R E E N B U G !

I also have one here in Penang now but its like 3/4 way being refurbished... it will be named G R E E N B U G I I !!! I have taken out the engine and sent it to Melbourne for chroming....
