But when the crime rate and security are as bad as now, and i view this as the police's REAL KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR, not the NUMBER OF GATHERING or BALIK KAMPUNG EVENTS, me as a taxpayer has every right to criticise the downright incompetence and lack of priority by the PRDM....Don't always be the running dog of the govt and victimise the rakyat...Go after the violent criminals for once!

Forgive me Changster but I'd have to agree with Stonster here. In my entire life I have never had any service from the police force. My motorbike was stolen twice and twice they demanded money for its return despite it already found when I made the report.

My wallet was pickpocketed and they refuse to hold any investigation despite me offering proof. No statement was taken.

"Tindakan??? Errr takdelah. Nah ambik salinan repot ini buat sebagai rujukan dan buat balik ic baru, itu je."

My wife's purse was snatched and what do they do???? Statement was taken but nothing else ...

What is happening when the street is STILL filled with sticker spam by the Ah Long menace ? It doesn't take smart mind to find out how....

I do not like to find faults for faults sake but what we have here is a deep mistrust of the very people who are paid by us to protect us. C4 anyone? Invading state assemblies and dragging speakers off seems to be their main job nowadays.

If I do get robbed the last thing I want to do is to go to the police station and waste my time there. "Kalau saya dapat balik you punya barang berapa banyak you mau bayar saya?"

Not that they are unhappy. One less set of paperwork to do and more chance for they to cari makan through "roadblocks."

IMHO police are like us..they are some good and some bad...u cant take one bad police/person and say all the police force is bad. We should look at the real issue instead of a person.

Forgive me Changster but I'd have to agree with Stonster here.

I have to agree with aaron ong too.

Reporting to police will end up as statistics most of the time and nothing else is done except when several people died etc.

I myself have reported several times and nothing was done.

That's why snatch thieves and burglary are rampant even when the crime area is near a police station.
