whatever the cost, ensure the lorry is based on open ie without canvas cover. encountered a lorry service who said i have to pay double to take out the canvas. I paid rm200 for 3 trips for a 2-ton lorry but the distance was less than 2km away. If they had opened the canvas it would have been only 2 trips.
it depends on the distance travelled and how well u know the lorry driver... i paid about rm400 for 5 trips to move house from puchong to PJ ...
i believe the range is about RM60 - RM100 within Klang Valley per trip
why take small lorry then... might as well hire a 5 ton lorry la... those 1~3 ton lorries no point la...Originally Posted by chewie

Instead of using the open top lorry, you may also used to with rear compartment-like IKEA delivery with roof and door. With this, less worry of rain or things drop off.
It cost Rm 100+/-Rm20, depending on distant. Also this is only for the driver. Expect to pay another rm 30 or so for another to help carry the load if required.

His lorry come with hydraulic ram too, so make it easier to lift up and drop down to the lorry's back.
Hi,
anyone has a recommended lorry services?
need to shift some furniture.
Thanks!
Aiyoyo... to RAM is to "crash into" ... what you really meant is RAMP which is a platform to move things from one level to another level.... wegive you the benefit of the doubt ... probably forgot to type in the last alphabet which makes a HUGE difference in meaning... [ ..oh my english..]![]()
Lorry with hydraulic ramp ? Not too common, I believe. The charges must be a little more than usual
