My friend is sells Rainbow Vacuum cleaners. I bought my Rainbow unit from her. Have been using for 4 years now w/o problem.

If you want a demo and prefer to call her for one, email me and I will provide you her mobile number. Alternatively, if you want me to contact her for you, let me know as well (thru email of course) I don't want to reveal her contact number for all to see.

    My email is danny.picm@gmail.com

May I know what is the difference between Rainbow Vacuum and Osim's i-something (can't remember its name...was it mermaid?)

What is the pricing like? Is it worth having?

If you are willing to part with RM6-7K of your hard earned money, then buy Rainbow vacuum cleaner......

I bought mine for 6 and that was 4 yrs ago, I think.
7.5 is way on the high especially in times like now. Check out alternatives which are definitely more affordable. There are always alternatives.

Why would someone spend 7.5K on a vacuum cleaner really puzzles me.... maybe it's a women thing, maybe that's why I still can't understand my wife coz she bought one too, even after many violent objections from me!

The thing works well, as claimed, but I don't think it is worth 7.5K. Heck, a used Kancil can be had for less than 7.5K, the manufacturing cost of a small car ex-factory from China is roughly 7.5K also!

This is another one of those pyramid marketing schemes.

The machine probably costs RM300 ex-factory, after marked up 300% by the parent company, then next line marks up, the next line..... and so on........ why do u think it costs so much?

The salesman makes RM100 from the company when he does a demo even without selling one unit. He makes a lot more when he sells one.

And if u bought one, u'll get a free gift or a few hundred RM referral fee if u introduce someone to buy one. All these costs adds up to the selling price lor!

Oh, yea, my wife recoup some of her investments by introducing her friends to buy one, but she still overpaid BIG BIG BIG time for a VACUUM Cleaner! This one is really kena SUCK blood big time!

Do u think these kinds of vacuum cleaner is worth the price?

I'd rather go buy a similar industrial vac from Kaarcher or Bosch, at least I know it is not MARKED UP by tens of thousands of %, and for much less $$.

Are we happy with the vac? Yes, wife happily uses her multi K ringgit vac to do housework more often! I'm happy coz I didn't hv to pay for it, and the house is cleaner now (not becoz of the Rainbow, but becoz she do cleaning more often, ....err... she don't want to let the RM7K vac sit in one corner n go to waste mar.....)

So what are the options to direct selling vaccum cleaners for a house? Those that really works, it mean. I have bought some units that make more noise then suck dust and dirt.

We've had our rainbow for a few years now, No regrets when you see the amount of dirt it removes. Esp from the mattresses.

Saw the latest model - very, very quiet and it can run continuously 24 hours if you want to clean the air.

(No, I don't sell the thing).

ok. found it... it retails for between USD2.6k - USD3k in the US, minus the power nozzle...

Seems like there is a large satisfied customer group for it with that kind of a price... and I am one of them

Which part do u agree with? That the product is overpriced? Our blood's been SUCKED dry by buying this thing? Or it is a women thing to pay 7K for a vac?

FYI, for 7k I can buy an industrial water filtration vac+a steam cleaner+a power water jet spray for washing the porch and the cars, and some spare change to go for a trip to Phuket or plenty of refelxology sessions for her to relax after doing houswork, but she refused to listen n insisted on getting that overpriced vac!

btw, I think this thread is another one of those 'bait' to get us talking about their product and then "someone else" comes in and advertise his/her satisfaction and provide a contact no / email to reap the rewards.

To me, Rainbow marketing is nothing but a SCAM who capitalizes on a good product to fleece money from buyers when similar products can be bought for much less.

I should change my postings to say "I AM NOT HAPPY TO BE FLEECED of 7 K of our hard earned money for a vacuum cleaner."

    kwchang,

I suggest to remove any contact numbers or email contacts from this thread and advise all forumers from falling for this marketing trap.
