    Windbreaker

    Dear all,
I'll be conquering Mount KK next month. The only thing I am looking out now is a good windbreaker. Any idea where can I purchase from? Any specific brands?

    Thanks!

i will be doing Mersilau - Peak - Timpohan
going up via ferrata would be nice...more challanging i guess..

as for me... i am arranging everything on my own.. 5D4N which includes Padas River water rafting, is about RM900 per person exclude air ticket,..and we will be going to Poring too..

windbreaker not need to be too good..a simple on will do... gloves, just get those gardening glove would be sufficient..

Mesilau track will be longer right?

I wish I can go Padas, but I heard it's like a Grade 5!!!! I only did Grade 1-2 which was at Jeram Besu. Hahahahah...

Yeah, that's why I'm asking around. I don't want to buy expensive windbreakers knowing that I will only be using it once or twice...

if you want, you can borrow mine..but my size is XL...

    i got a few windbreaker...

yup..mersilau is longer by 1km but its more scenic...even u come down via feretta, you will be using timpohan trail to come down...

from what i heard there are currently building another trail...it will start from kota belud ... dunno how true is it larr
padas river is grade 3 - 5... it will be an experience as we will be riding on the only train in Sabah to Tenom..and then 23km of water rafting..

could we take this offline..after chang will come and buy us banana...

pm me your email or skype address...

Guys, take care and follow the rules yah....

Not trying to scare you or anything, a friend of mine, fit as a bull, who was the Operations Director at Brunei International Airport, developed "bubbles" in his blood stream for descending Mount Kinabalu too fast.... died!

Just follow the rules and not challenge nature. Congrats too!

sentinel..i agree... even how fit you are, once you develop atiltude sickness you are gone... and we have to pace ourselves...and not to rush or push ourselves.. take our time... and if we are giddy, stop and rest immediately..and eat some garlic..

    sad to hear that Sentinel...

yeah.. we are taking it slowly and not by outdoing others. i have to say, even if i do feel crappy up at the mountain, i will stop and not continue on (though I will be very disappointed)

    chewie - why garlic?
