Offering Family Value Meal at Rm49.90 which is ideal for 4 to pax in Malaysian Chinese local delights menu which consists of Soup, Veggies, Fish and Chicken of the day. which the menu would changed daily depending on stock availbility and chef mood swings.
This menu promotion starts on Wednesday for lunch or dinner upon suggested Reaservation.
The followings are the healthy ,yet tasty expection menu -
Soup - Egg drop enoki mushroiom soup,
Veggie - Carrot ontoppa tofu (with or without shrimp)
Chicken - Sweet and souir red tomato and green pepper
Fish - Baked fish or Lala in leeks and ginger sauce.

First time in Zinglicious history, a jam packed or sardine packed with two separate fuction of dual menu - a 12 chef menu courses for 15 pax and 40 pax managed by a Mean Chef and single Chief of Staff.

All went great with local and foreign guests from Australia for the buffet menu but got misfired the Chef Room by serving American VIP drink of Martini 003 because it went flat as I forgot to add the all important ingredients of infused syrups. It shot blank and tasteless without the bang!

But all was forgiven when the food from the Chef Menu - Herby Pumpkin, Baked USA Graded Scallops, Portobello Mushrooms, Baked Tuna, Baked Curry Fish Head and Zing desserts. Otherwise, would surely get spanked by the Datuks for the misfired drinks.

As usual, the buffet crowd section got to stop the Mean Chef from cooking more food after 3 1/2hours of non stop menu of food goodies at 1030p.m. Maybe, they were warned not to drink ,eat and be merry excessively by the Pastors in the sermon.

Chief of Staff went to KO when the bell rang while the Mean Olde Chef was able to got to overdrive mode to mop and clean up the kitchen and gazzillion plates, forks and spoons. Must be the scallop and oysters and mussels which was eaten and zinc mineral power at work until he too was KO at 8.00am by the vintage vodka left over by Patrick two weeks ago. Hic* Hic* Any more supply coming Pat???

Thanks for opening for lunch for us last Sunday, I didn't realise you only open for dinner on weekends! A friend was leaving for an overseas posting so a few of us decided to give her a treat. Since I was organising it I wanted something different but not too hard on our wallets. It was a really good lunch, we enjoyed the element of surprise as we actually didn't know what was coming. I gave a total budget and list of stuff we don't and leave the menu to Zing's imagination. Portobello mushroom was gooood as were the sushi rolls and fishrolls. I can't remember all the food as there were quite a lot of dishes one after another but definitely the last one, the curry was really, really yummy. Never thought I would see seafood and chicken in the same curry dish (that WAS chicken AND seafood, right?). Thanks for putting up with the list of 'don't eats' as well, I know it happens each time I come in.

As I have said - I sing to the MJ tune - I'll be there. Lunch, dinner or supper except Breakfast. And you had book two days in advance, given me ample time to prep some of the food with the theme of your friend going to China for a while. Hence the special curry menu. In fact, was trying to do the samba with Petai Prawn Sambal but could't find quality petai and also the Lala dish was left out because of questionable quality.

In fact, had a lunch booked yesterday too much to the delights of the guests as well.

Gave the above menu with Petai Prawn Sambal and Lala dish. Let say, it rocks according to the guests which also consist of Angmoh

Have the Chef Room booked by a group of NZ Lord of the Rings and the Damsels on Monday. Requested no New Zealand goodies like Mussels or Lamb. Requested EXOTIC Malaysian Chinese local delights like Petai Prawn Sambal, Fried Lice,Volvo Gearbox soup, and unkown to them I would be serving them something very New Zealand where some of them might be jumpy when they see Curry Fish Head ( the head is gutted, packed at New Zealand water and shipped here.) Would be serving them USJ bananarama desserts as it is definitely all Malaysian Produce.

Typo mistake - Should have read as Rm38.80 for those who RSVP. Anyway, customers that came last week was not overcharged.

This week the menu is of the followings:
Soup - chicken and cuttlefish in melon soup
Prawn in egglicious omelete or Veggie ontoppa Tofu.
Chicken Rendang.
Talapia fish filet in velvet sauce.

( menu may change due to inflatuation of orders or whilke stock last as stock are kept to the minimum to ensure freshness and maintain quality as orders are done when they are ordered )

Frying oils is not to be reused as it changes the compound of the molecular structure.
From KFC to MCD, Yau Char Keow to Fried Chicken Wings, these oils have been used more than twice!!!

Thanks to Chang for reopening this thread as there are some inquiries from here and from us citydata.com forumers.
Anyway, there is limited vested interests as I have even closed my Zinglicious restaurants at Subang. But as I have stressed all along, I have never started this thread on self or food promotion. Any advert is unitentionally or because of inquiries from the forumers.
I never wanna to show how good I am but rather how mean I can be in cooking out some healthy issues from the credible outsource links from American Cancer society or American Heart Association or ABC news.
Meanwhile, I have cooked up facebook ( started 3 years after this thread ) where you can oggle or goggle the food over www.facebook.com/zinglicious.
Seriously, I am glad that this thread is reopened as there are links that I did not stored up and the interaction of questions and answers in this column.
And guess what? I even had reservation calls for tables in Subang restaurant two days back while I was holidaying at Penang!
