    Pray for Subang USJ Giant

Since the huge car park area have taken back by the owner and rent it to Mydin, I think the bad day of Giant is coming since there have lost few hundred car park area and now is damn hard to get a car park at there.

Actually myself is more prefer shop at Giant its because feel more comfortable. Hopefully they can faster think a solution for the car park.

Won't miss them. Never had a good experience buying their higher-than-average-price goods and waiting at the long checkout lines.

Now, I wish Tesco would come to Subang/USJ. Love their checkout policy of "If there's 2 trolleys in front of you at the checkout line, we will open a new counter". Never had to wait more than 1 minute at their checkout counters.

The way that things are going on with Giant, I think the entire Giant group will be in trouble soon. I shop more often in Tesco nowadays.

I had heard that Giant USJ is actually packing up since Mydin is taking over the premise? So no need to sympathise with Giant because they are not likely to remain there long. With brand new outlets opened at Putraheights, Kota Damansara and not-so-new at Puteri Puchong and Kinrara, there are more than enough outlets for you to choose

Why pray for them? Do they pray for you? In their good times, do you think they think about you or your money?

Id like to know what will be done with the space when/if Giant leaves.

MPSJ better ensure that it is protected for the LRT ... in fact it would be better if they freeze development until the LRT station and its carpark and bus hub are built.

    Cheers, m

ps. m thinks the LRT station for Summit / USJ1 would be best at the southeast corner of Kewajipan and Murni, where the abandoned project it. The site is odly shaped and it would be ideal for a station and bus hub and parking structure since it fronts 3 major roads.

Oh, and the site next door is called USJ Sentral already

Been to Tesco at shah alam on 31-Dec-08 at night. Found out that they do not comply to their own policy. Few counters were closed despite 3 to 4 trolleys on other counter.

Conclusion is, this policy only works on normal day, not on special day when too crowded. This was informed by the supervisor when I consulted him. I call this false information. So Tesco better remove the policy banner!

Been waiting for someone to start this thread. I used to buy pork from the deli beside Giant USJ1. Since the carpark is gone, I find it hard to buy pork. Can someone please tell me where you normally get your pork supply? Other than carrefour?

I've posted in a different thread that my wife felt that too. Looks like my unpleasant experience with them and my constant quiet cursing is making them close shop soon. Me bad. Am feeling sorry for them already.

I think with them closing shop at USJ 1, the daily horrendus traffic snarl at the traffic junction will be a thing of the past soon. Just hope and pray.

Used to shop in Giant, but since Fajar close shop last time, they charged higher and higher.

I just can hope for Tesco to come along.

    Love Tesco.
