What's with the morning traffic out of USJ these days?

The police at Federal Highway seems to be backing up traffic all the way into USJ 11. Surely this can't be of any help to us. Anyone know what's going on?

I think they are the CAUSE of the problem, by choking traffic into Federal Highway ... but why?

This is nothing compared to what you will experience when the flyover to Subang heights connecting to batu Tiga opens......

Just 1 question since I only use Federal Highway once last week, how's the traffic flow at Federal Highway? When I used Federal Highway last week on Friday morning, traffic seems flowing, and I've seen a police man stopping too many cars from entering FEderal Highway at one go, I think the police is controlling the amount of cars going into Federal Highway to reduce congestion on Federal Highway, this is done in USA where all the ramps entering major highway has a ramp signal, will only let cars get into major highway one by one, its a traffic signal at the entrance at the ramp, that will go red and green and only one car can go at each green, each green has an interval of about 5 second, cars will line up along the ramp and local roads just to get into major highway. But I don't think this will work in Malaysia as our local roads are already so congested and not much storage space and our major highway...well...is not that big anyway.

yesterday's traffic was horrendous. getting out of usj was fine, but the traffic at the flyovers from ss15 to get to federal highway was insane. and the ridiculous thing is that there were no breakdowns or accidents or whatnot. i left home at 7.45am and reach damansara jaya (taking the nkve, which was also jammed up all the way from the exit lane at the highway) at 9.10. grrr

today i left home at 7.55am and reached my workplace at 8.50am. and there were two stalled cars at the flyover from ss18 leading to ss19/federal highway!

I think the problem is taht the roads from Puchong and Shah Alam entering USJ are the main causes...I remembered I once mentioned taht this is the price for us not protecting Subang Jaya...so ppl now use Subang Jaya akin to being prostituted....so we better make sure this does not happen again.

Also, I think that the only way this can be relived is with flexi hours working..but thats a a far cry.

For now, the best is to leave early....

Traffic jams seems like Malaysian's best friend, every where you go, there is Traffic Jam. I stay in Kemuning and I avoid using Summit, because the Jam is crazy, I use NKVE to Damansara, but again, once exit Damansara Toll, is jam all the way to Session 16....this is insane, I spent so much time commuting. I think is time to move...again.

Well you are not alone. I too got stuck in the massive jam (40 minutes at Persiaran Murni towards ss19/federal). The whole weird part is that the whole last week the jam was not as bad as yesterday and today!!!!!

vaw: what irks me is that there seems to be no reason for it! my parents suggested that it just happened to be one of those days where everybody decided to go out at the same time, lol.
