Went for lunch on 24th with my others colleague...12 persons... all of them said just so so only...but their coffee is ok for me...I prefer Kim Gary or Old Town.Originally Posted by Fabe18

Was there last week and tried the nasi lemak.
Nasi Lemak
- Average and I would say the other shop at its back row taste better.
Cleanliness
- Took the first spoon and found left-over food on it. Changed to second spoon.
- Fork: First two forks were tainted with left-over food on its prongs and only satisfied with the third one.![]()
- Complained to the management.
ain't stepping into this one then! thanks for the tip.
It's better to be poor than to be rich. The rich always have to fear becoming poor, but the poor never have to fear becoming rich.
Tried it last week, coffee too thin for my liking ... and the prawn mee have not enough soup when it came, taste doesnt work out for me as well, Kaya toast was ok. Price wise .... in summary I'll go opposite ...
Price wise is terribly high. Wen there for 1 toast, 1 soya cincau, 1 chicken hor fun & 1 barley...come up to RM22.
They really ketuk us hard with the drink. I thin my soya cincau with gula melaka alone is RM5. I thought it is super good but when it come, it is just so so..
Since i tried once, i already complain to my family not to go there already.

Thanks for the info. You won't see me there either! But how come the place is packed to brim???
People like new thing. Their menu is fantastic printed and lot of variety. I always wonder how do they manage their food quality? Look at the chef. Mostly foreign worker. I think they just read "Top Malaysian Local Food Recipe Book".
I still salute those uncle & auntie that concentrate to sell stall by stall at the kopitiam. Especially those already there for years, they are focus in making sure the only thing they are selling is GOOD.

There appears to a public affection for kopitiams nowadays...the nostalgic calls for the good old times...a good marketing concept, I'd say....hence we see new kopitiam brands every now and then...as for the product, my take is - "same thing, different package" ... and cost more sometimes...![]()

This place was recommended by a friend. She said the asam laksa is superb (she tried it at the outlet in Pyramid), so my husband and I went over a coupla days before xmas -- that's when they just opened for business. Very chaotic, waited over an hour for our very bland asam laksa!!! Also, my husband's drink never came...From this bad experience, think I'll give this place a miss from now onwards!
So far so negative...hehee...I'm not going in until I hear positive feedback.![]()
