    Michellin Tyres - CHEAT!

    michellin is cheating me of my free digital tyre pressure gauge.
    The authorised Michelin branded dealer in PJS, told me that the michellin people do not have enuff stock of these freebies for every 2 tyres purchase..i bought 4 to get 1 gauge BUT they cheat me by saying 'NO stock' for the past 5weeks already!

    Even the blady michellin website in malaysia do not bother to reply to my 2 emails complaining about the the False and Misleading Promotion...
    I am now going to email the mcihellin HQ and see if the this cheating habit is driven by the kwai loh form the top...

    Then i am filing a complaint to the Consumer Assoc includ CASSA...(wonder fi they interested to play watch dog to consumers blur sotong who got conned by Freebie offer??

    Tupai, CASSA is more interested in going after those Casanovas preying on rich ladies lah...

    Listen, I will pass you one of the Michelin tyre pressure gauge I used on my big bikes before... just to make you happy, I will give you two types when I see you Monday.

    BUT that is not to say to stop haggling those folks at Michelin yah, give them kau kau....

    I believe such promotion normally have exceptional clause to protest themselves.... the word "while stock lasts" should be in the ads.

    PJS7 Michelin right. Is true they have no stock. The last time I went I wanted to buy a digital tire pressure gauge you mentioned which is about rm170, they have no stock for me.

    sorry to hear that...i'll be fuming too if im in ur shoes..
    Im using mIchelin too.. as of date..ive got their musical mugs (for my children) given by courier & tool kit given at the tyre shop ....

    I guess they really am out of stock...i think digital tyre pressure gauge is something plp really like...

    "while stocks last" ? hahahahahah...i know that line too. I too made a career from "selling you dreams and aspirations"

    BUT it does not exonerate them of their promise. Advertising tells half truth. BUT not lies.

    By embarking a mass media campaign giving 'Free Xrated rain coat worth XRinggit' does not mean that they can say 'sori ah, outta stok' please accept an umbrella and a mug as the alternative gift!'

    p/s Sentinal>..I dont want your tyre pressure gauge. I got a few also lah! I am pissed when the michelin tyre salesman and the dealer asked me to write in to complain cos they cannot do anything...and michelin has yet to answer my 2 emails! Pissing me off Fatman style now!

    i donno lah...but there is a high possibility! The mighty reach and depth of penetration of usj.com.my PLUS My threatening e to them on lodging a complaint to the min.of dome.trade, consumer court and even cassa ...got me a reply e, not 10mins ago.

    The free digital michelin gauge will be couriered to me via a co (complete with airway no. sumore!) by wednesday!!!!!!!

    Now all this bad publicity could have been avoided and my brand loyalty to the fatman brand, could not have been compromised, if only the fatman marketing people had done their job! Talk about incompetency! If they my people, early early i goreng their sotong alredi!

    Now, i am watching the paint dry and the lalang grow for the courier co to come by wednesday... ...and that the nicely packed package is not a stupid mug and a tool set!
