    Photoshop class available?

Does anyone know of a Photoshop class available in Subang Jaya or USJ? I'd prefer a half day course or one day course. Cheers, Ellen

Forget those classes. Just invite franky out for a TT session.

Franky...don't forget the rest of us, ok?

If you have the time, buy those tutorial class CD. Go through the CD and at the same time practise with your own photos. That'd help to improve your Photoshop skill.

Get a book on Photoshop written by Scott Kelby. It's not cheap but really worth the money you pay. I've bought one 3 years ago, and I still refer to it every now and then.

I've tried books and tutorials but I'm a bit of a dunce at those. They so often miss a vital step. I'd prefer hands-on classes. But all the cybercafes are devoted to gaming and I can't find a school! Cheers, E.

Do give Scott Kelby's book a try. I find his book is quite systematic. (I don't get a commision for this ) I also started with absolutely zero Photoshop knowledge and his book gave me the confidence to remove unwanted people from my photos

    For example:
    Photoshopped

How's the going emw? **waving hands**
    Have you got yourself started?

One very good book to get you started is THIS BOOK written by the 'Godfather' of Photoshop.

All Scott Kelby's books are very easy to follow (I have quite a number of them myself. And they are placed right next to my computer for quick reference all the time). It's more 'idiotic' than all those 'idiot' books and more 'dumberer' that all those 'dummy' books. Something like what the chinese say ' Chiew Tarn, Charp Yeok'.

And maybe you can start a thread too by posting some of your photos and tell us how you want to 'improve' them. Then maybe some members here can help you out.

    Cheers!

Ooooh. She's found herself another 'Godfather'.

    Cheers!
