I'm not sure whether the eclipse is visible in Ipoh in the first place. Anyhow it was way too cloudy. But before the start of the eclipse there were some rainbow coloured clouds in the sky.Wonder what caused the phenomenon? (Please excuse the shot. It was taken with my handphone camera; at 5:24pm)

During CNY, we went back to Taiping and visited the Taiping zoo. My son and I took some pictures. These were shot by him. I just love the Nikkor 55--200mm VR lens.
