    Hawker food prices

I have decided to boycott hawker's food unless they reduce their prices.
During the fuel price increase, they have increase a bowl of mee from 3.50 to 4.50 per plate. Now that the fuel has dropped they have maintained at Rm4,50 and the portion are smaller. Lets boycott them forumners, get rid of these money sucking bugs. Imagine a chinese tea cost rm0.60 sen and the tea leaves are doubtful.

yes....its terrible. as i said...u ask for tambah udang or kerang for CKT they charge u rm 2 additional. the portions are all smaller now.

    ask means...they say...semua sudah naik.

nobody go means i want to see what they have to say.

but knowing malaysians...they will keep going.

Or actually the whole scenario is like chicken and egg. They need to live a lfie too, they got bills to pay too, but none is reduced, so they have to charge the same rate too, and we have to pay the same rate too

No need to order drink especially when eating Meehoon soup.
Imagine a family of four could save us RM 8-00 for drinks alone.

agreed, let's boycott those that have increased the price...worst part is the govt is taking time to consider reducing the petrol price or they are still counting the $$$ make from the recent rise. Doubtful the hawkers and the rest of the chain will reduce their price after what pak lah has done....the petrol price should be review on a daily basis like countries in USA...for the benefit of the consumers...

The gahmen would have lost millions in subsidies or whatever during the price inflation if they'd maintained the RM1.92 price till now. The loss seems to have shifted to petrol dealers instead or oil companies instead, not to mention the rakyat is affected in various degrees and due to other reasons that relate to the petrol price, where we can do NOTHING but mumble and and grumble. The gahmen are not wanting to loose money so its passed on somewhere else to absorb it all. Thats BeeEnd for you all.

Teach these hawkers a lesson by boycotting their outlets, they are miniting large some of profits and using lame excuses for their exorbitant increases.

Cheh.. I don't have faith in talk of "boycott" in this country. It DOESN'T work!
Go see the restaurants and hawker coffee shops in USJ or Subang during lunchtime. Do you think anyone really bother?.. they eat and be merry..simple and true.. Even if they purge and stomach ache, its entirely another issue.
Just self ban will do lah! Like me..so many shops in USJ/Subang I refuse to go..even for FREE makan!. That include those "old style" (NEW actually) kopitiams and the sorts. Whats so good about the coffee and whatever they serve at rediculous prices?.. yet the place is thriving every evening and nite. Is there something wrong with the Malaysian mindset?..

Sorry to spoil your "protest" but I love hawker food too much to boycott them.
There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.
