    012 and 017 no coverage in USJ4

there are three 012/017 lines in my household, and recently, the coverage has gone from dropped line calls to totally no coverage at all most of the time. the handphone batteries have gone flat logging on to the network and lighting up everytime it succeeds connecting to the network.

In the beginning, i thought that there was something wrong with my phone, but another phone seems to have the same dead battery problem as well. Then we figured that the batteries drained because of the problem highlighted.

is anyone else having this problem?

I am staying in USJ 4 .. and no, my maxis is at full bar. Maybe some item in your house is interfering the reception. Suggest you call to Maxis for help.

Called Maxis already. They said they'll log in my complaint to the technical dept.

Everything in my household is as before. Nothing new.

    Dunno what's the problem

Same in USJ3. The network coverage are not consistent. And it really piss me off. What I noticed, it only encounter on the postpaid line. Prepaid, no issue. It came into me as though as my handphone having problem. Twohands, thanks for bringing this up. Phew!!! Thought its time to get a new phone.

I believe once they allow for change of telco while maintaining original phone number, all Maxis subscribers should go to Celcom - best coverage. My Celcom postpaid almost always get strong signals when others fail ... on 2nd thoughts, maybe you folks better change to Digi instead, so I continue to get strong uncongested network traffic

I have the same problem in Puchong. Don't believe the signal bar. Even when it is 4/5, I still get missed calls and even when calls get through sometimes I can only hear static.

Just waiting for October when mobile number portability will be available for Digi.

I used to hold a Celcom line but had it terminate last month. I was billed for texts and calls which I don't make at all. Celcom investigation revealed that I got a too intelligent phone aka futuristic phone which can make call by itself to Switzerland (Not sure my phone called whom) I was asked by Celcom to send my phone to Sony Ericcson service center. According to the SC, there is nothing wrong with my phone. They even had the programme reinstall. Indeed, I admit that the coverage are superb but the customer service are a pain in the a**. Month after months, I have a lot of billing issues. Getting sick of calling them and following up with the progress, I file for a divorce proceeding. Till now, I have yet to see the reversal of charges for all the disputed calls.
