    I thought the original rubber tyres (>100 years ago) were solid chunks of rubber (also airless). So now we are going back to 100 year old technology.

    Also the original diesel engine was designed to run on vegetable oil. Now again we are reinventing bio-diesel.

    Actually this is old news since the concept was introduced in 2005.

    Initial feedback was:
    Pro: cornering grip, response and feel is excellent
    Cons: harsh vibration and an overly noisy ride
