there is an apartment just going up literally next to our apartment and directly opposite on another apartment block.
Are they allowed to work on weekends becuase its just extremely noisy, is there any gov legislation on what time, when can they do their work?
At the moment they r clearing the hill next to our apartment.

the condo project opposite mine tried to work after 10pm. i called the police. 15 minutes later, police arrived and they stopped work.
my friend in ampang not so lucky. i adviced her to call the police. she did that but they still continued. apparently the police came.... did some negotiations with the project manager... and then the police left. work continued..

heads spinning thx to all the tin tin tong tong... well at least they dont work on Sundays (YET).
i thought they were suppose to stop work around 7pm, 10 pm is abit late...

I paste the relevant parts for your easy reference.
According to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) buildings director Mohd Yusuf Alwi, the permitted hours for construction is from 8am to 6pm on from Mondays to Saturdays. No work is allowed on Sundays and public holidays.
Yusuf said this was in accordance to the Road, Drainage and Buildings Act 1974 (Act 133), Building Regulations (Federal Territory, KL) 1985 and the Construction Site Monitoring Guidelines.
“However certain flexibility were given for applications to work after permitted hours,” he said.
In this case Puchong falls under MPSJ and I am sure their guidelines are not far different from DBKL.
You should lodge an official complain with the MPSJ

my neighbour used to work for 5 months renovation.
I complained many times to mpsj and they arrived.
It is before 6 pm.
After 6 pm, you can call mpsj
