Talking Places to go during Merdeka Weekend?

Am planning to bring my family out for a day trip outing during the merdeka weekend
but the problem is my family consist of a 8 months old baby and a 7 months pregnant lady

So hot and crowded place definitely is a no no

Was thinking Aquaria, but it might be packed during the weekend, and it is stroller friendly?

Also was considering Bukit Tinggi for some fresh air, but never been there before, anything to do there ar? and will it be crowded?

    GreyShadow..
My family took a drive to Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi on the way back from Kuantan last week.
You have to pay entrance fee of Rm18 per adult and Rm8 per child -this inclusive visit the rabbit farm which located before the golf course and Japanese garden.
Out of 3 Fench looking buildings , 1 is closed.
We only went to one building.
They have a small child playroom, an arcade, 4 eating outlets, a souvinoirs shop, a beauty shop, a few stall selling things. A pond with 2 white swans and 2 black swans.

Nothing much to do there, weather is not cool.
For me, it's really a waste of time and not worth paying the entrance fees!! .

If you like wildlife.. can consider visiting Deerland and Elephant Sanctuary at Kuala Gandah... I find visiting Deerland is enjoying as you get to touch all the animals there (they have deers, bear, ostrict, etc..).. However, you 8 mths old toddler may not able to appreciate it...

deerland and elephant sanctuary is good. was there on 16 august.

The best place to relax is at home and catch up some good time with your family. everywhere will be jam packed with people as its a long weekend.

just sit at home, call some close friends or relative, have a bbq party and have a great time...

    yalor, that's the problem
she likes cooling weather, I think the sanctuary might be too hot for her

I guess we might just drop by one of the shopping mall at downtown KL, if the traffic and crowds didn't drown us first

Take a slow drive to Fraser's Hill, the climate is around 24 degrees in the day and 20 degrees at night. Nothing much, but enjoy the cool air and greenery.

Frazer's Hill would be good if you like the cool weather. It's near and can even make it a day trip if you're unable to get accommodation. Traveling time is about 90minutes /110km fr usj.
Take a walk round the trails while breathing the cool crisp clean air. Best to unwind and away from the madness of the city. Do your own steamboat dinner there if you want.
