Oh, btw, the Sri Nirwana Maju Restoran in USJ9/5M isn't all that bad. All their food is served on banana leaves. I can't remember how much a vegetarian meal (unlimited rice!) costs but it should be around RM5. Will go there again next week. Will report back on the price.

Last night had a nasi kandar with curry mutton, some cucumber and one boiled egg in Kayu, taipan cost me 8.90 ringgit. Banned from my list forever... They suka suka charge you more and more and more without receipt after pay. I think staffs inside is eat up most of the money.
Come to puchong jaya opposite IOI mall, the mixed rice there only rm 3.xx. I took two vege and a plate of lala, only rm 3.xx.

Food in SJ and USJ is getting ridiculously expensive, if you were to base this on the quantity and quality. I eat out often and at times it's a pain to decide where to eat in SJ. It's heartache to pay for food that taste crap but there's no choice least you drive out of SJ.

Just a few days back, I had to go to Kota Kemuning and since it was late, I thought I'd stop by for dinner. It was just random, picked this coffee shop opposite the MacD. It was almost 9.30pm and there were just few stalls open. The popular ones were probably sold out.

Anyway I chose the char keow teow and satay. To my surprise they both tasted great. The keow teow had lap cheong and only 3.50. Satay was quite meaty and sauce taste different - black pepperish, 60sen and a big beer mug of chinese tea 40sen.

And here I thought the residents of Kemuning were the 'new' rich!

You guys may want to try the chap fan stall at Restoran Apollos (USJ 4). Price very reasonable. The seller usually charges me around RM3.50 - RM3.80 for a plate of rice + 1 type of meat + omelette.

If you find food expensive in SJ/USJ what's the big deal, cook and carry your own food.

The stall will only start selling 7.00pm sharp. Usually you will find long Q but try go there around 8pm you know what I am saying...she is losing customer due to pricing and arrogance. At least 50% left over.

Yesterday, I bought mixed rice from this lady. 2 packets cost RM9.50, comparatively cheaper than fastfood which costs at least RM10.00 for BigMac.

Mixed rice more wholesome than junkfood at McD !

How about all of us line up to buy only rice & 1 veg or only gravy, so she got no more rice to sell & too late to cook additonal rice. so ending up turn customers away.

we do it every night till she " ta pau " herself
