Hi, before moving to usj i need to know if there is a special school in uSJ , if there is is it in 11 or 12, what apartments are there near by usj 11 and 12, what is the rental like? is it safe , i mean at least safe... is there any secondary school near by, what is it called, and is it agood shsool, anynoe's kid going to that school , i', blurr........... please clear me on this matter and how far is usj 4 to 11 & 12?

Buttercup, There are secondary schools in USJ 4 (Sek Men USJ4) and USJ 12 (Sek Men USJ12). USJ 4, 11 and 12 are quite close to each other; less than a km apart. In fact, USJ 4 and 12 are located side by side where else USJ 11 is right opposite of the road of USJ12. The nearest apartment is Acasia, I think but house rental within that area are about the range of RM800 and above.

Depending on your needs and family situations, there are quite a number of houses for rental or for sale.

If you are going to study at USJ 4 (SMK USJ4) you may want to stay at USJ 3/4/5. There's an overhead pedestrian crossing for those staying at USJ5.

As for SMK USJ12 school, you may want to stay nearby at USJ12/4/3/11. There's also an overhead pedestrian crossing for those staying at USJ11.

The nearest apartment is Arcadia located at USJ 11.

Hi, actually i'm from cameron highlands, i was born and bred here, i have a daughter who is dyspraxia and need to attend speacial school. that is why i'm planning to move to usj.I heard there is a Dyslexic associacion center subang jaya branch 2, jalan usj 6/28 or ( 6/2B not sure) ,47610 UEP subang.

So if there is a secondary school nearby, i can send my son who is 13 years old. I just need to know about the school that i'm sending my child and the apartment that i need to rent.

Over here in cameron is very safe , no one bullies anyone , actually i'm scared to to move to KL . But i don't have i choice. Beside this is there any special schools? Thanks for the map, it it very useful for me . i'll print it out and take along when i go hunting for houses, apartments, shcools..... during August school holidays.

If studying at USJ6, then the nearest apartments would be Goodyear Court 1 & 2. Please have a look at the map I enclosed in my earlier post. It should be quite clear.

By the way, The Star newspaper has quite extensive listing of houses and apartments at their classified section for rentals. Have a look there before you go hunting and happy hunting..

U can contact Pn Sariah (President of Dyslexic association Malaysia) tel: 40255109, we will advise u which nearest skol your child can attend. FYI, there is a special skol for primary but since your child is 13yrs, u better call Pn Sariah for latest Dyslexic skol available in Selangor or WP.

My daughter is 11 yeras old. she's the one who need help. my son is 13 years.
thanks, i got puan Sariah's contact and spoke to her she's also very busy, i had to take my daughter for a test . puan sariah wants to test my daughter first. One more thing, in cameron we don't get the classified adds that advertise the houses or apartments in selangor/jb.............. the have the middle section seperate for cameron. there'll be only one or two add who paid for the whole malaysia,s add, if you choose certain state than we in cameron cannot get. our nesw papers comes without that few extra pages, and i actually my husband will be attending a course in KL on 19th so frankly i'm waiting for the 19th and 20th paper to look at the adds. Funny, that many people doesn't know about this. They always tell me look at the add for ........... and i'll be saying no there no such ad............ ( my friends , well most of them knows by now)

BTW how do u know ur daughter is dyslexic (ADD/ADHD/Slow learner?)... have she be diagnosed by specialist or etc.... is she at sk or skc skol? in yr 5. FYI, if u wan yr girl to enter those special skol, u need to register her with the Welfare dept first & endorsement by a health specialist preferably a govt doc. Frankly, i feel that since she's already 11yrs might as well get a special teacher to guide her while she attend normal skol (no chinese skol). note: Me have a dyslexic/slow learner boy, he's 10yr & attend SK.... fyi, mothers need a lot of patience & always need to pin him esp on his skol work.

I heard that Sek Keb USJ 4 has special school to cater for your daughter needs. So, not to worry.
Other than Puan Sariah, you can engage a doctor to confirm her condition. You can speak to Dr Alex of SJMC

SKSeri Sgor (USJ4) only have remedy classes for problem student. If yr girl really need the special attention she need to go to special skol. They have one at SS19 (name @SK SS17 previously where Chee Wen first located) but again u need to get a specialist to diagnose your girl (better go to a govt paediatrician - it's foc)

I have taken her to HUKM (child pyhcology dr Vandahana bahl), KIdzgrow, both had diagnosed her, before that i took her to child pyhcology at stepping stone too, they said she is LD.

Yes, i've registered her, and got her OKU card too. Spoke to the Education Dept, here in Camerons, told them i want my daughter to remain in normal school, not the skolah khas where they have all sort of children. I have taight my daughter to read and write, she looks very much normal, talks a lot to he brother, always with a book and pencil writing ..........or doing some paper work.... extra excerse that i give her............

Gated and guarded and with lift, with facilities like swimming pool and courts, mini mart apartments are Good yr Court 7,8, 9 & 10.

Court 7 & 8 are mostly owners staying or rent out to family.

A basic court 7 & 8 without facility ranging from RM700-750 (depense on size) and with facilities like air cond, bed and etc (RM900-1200).

I am staying at Court 7 and plan to rent out my unit yr end when I move to Kemuning Utama.

The dyslexic center is at 6/2b, any houses aroud that area for rent, or maybe a room for rent around these place, it can be 2a,2c,2d,2e but walking distance? or is there any elderly couple staying nearby would like to provide homestay for 2-3 months for which i will pay the rental. Or maybe a small family which has extra vacant room to let us stay, i'm not very choosy or paricular , it's only for 3 months. a small room will do.

There is house for rent at 6/2m (1.5 stories with 3 bedrooms), walking distance to 2b.
This house was just renovated after the last tenant moved out.
