Question Parking Fines at private car parks

My car was clamped for parking at a reserved spot. Serves me right! However, is there a by-law that private car park managements (including condos) can impose fines like they are the government?

When you chose to park your vehicle in a private car park, you are subjected to their terms and conditions. If you are not agreeable with these conditions, you should not have parked there. So long as their terms and conditions including penalties are not contravening our law, they have not committed any wrong doings. If their rule says that if you park your car in designated lot and as a penalty, the owner of the lot will have a liberty to have sex with you, you just go straight to the police and report them lah. But if the owner happens to be a sexy hot babe and you happen to be a man, to be fair and consistent you also have to go report to the police. Don't just buat tak tahu when the situation is in your favour.

If that's the case I might forget about everything if it's a hot babe

Goodyear Court even have this law that you can park in the Visitor's Lot but you can't spend the night. IF the need arise the tenant have to apply from the management office, failing which they'll clamp and charge RM50.

Thanks guys for the enlightenment. Looks like those private car park management have all the muscles! The securities at Riana Green Condo will not allow contractors/repair men to park at their compound. The latter is told to park outside "at their own risks"! Outside is a NO PARKING area.
