A friend of mine organized a dinner buffet and got Nyonya Kitchen to cater. The food was really good. You can also visit their restaurant to get a taste of the kind of food it serves.

    I found Nyonya Kitchen's contact here: http://www.nyonya.com.my/contact.htm

Recently we went to the Nyonya Kitchen Restaurant near Bukit Tinggi Klang. It has buffett dessert offered free to those who order their set lunch. It's advisable to go in a group of 4-5 person. There were 3 of us and we couldn't finish all the food which we ordered, which is the smallest set lunch. But we ta pau the food. Really worthwhile to give it a try!

    Home Cooked Food Catering

My current food caterer is not bad but I'm not sure if she can do lunch as I only take dinner from her.

Basically it cost me RM180 per person with additional RM20 delivery fee per month. There are 3 dishes and sometimes I do get some complimentary dessert. She doesn't cook for many, may be a few household only, so the quality is quite good, taste like really home-cooked.

You may try to ask her at : 013-4855883 (Madam Tan)

Mother and son team living in USJ 14 delivers home cooked food right to my doorstep. Dinner consists of three dishes and one soup.

Ordered dinner for one but found that it is sufficient for two persons, if both are not heavy eaters. Paid RM150 per month including delivery. Satisfied with food since five months back.

Tsela - Is RM150 the cost for 1 person for roughly 20 days? How much is the cost for 2 persons? Currently I pay around RM200 for 2 persons for 20 days for 2 meats and 2 vege or tau foo sometimes and is enough for 3 of us. My caterer is the chap fun store at Rest. Goodyear in Court 6 (I think) which is opposite Thien Thien Fatt. Only snag is no delivery and you have collect by 7 pm but the food is pretty tasty and quality.

I paid RM150 for dinner which is catered for 1 person (2 meat, 1 vegi, 1 soup). Rice is DIY. Delivery is on working days (Monday to Friday). Saturday, Sunday and public holiday are excluded. It’s roughly about 20 meals in a month. Cost for two persons will be RM300. For some families, the amount of dinner (catered for one person) may be enough for two adults and one child to have a light dinner without leftover or food waste.

Lunch (3 dishes) is delivered around 10.30am, before children leave for school. Dinner (3 dishes plus 1 soup) is delivered around 5.30pm, before majority of the working folks are back to their home. Delivery is within USJ. Food is typically Chinese cooking and tasted fine.

Dinner is delivered in a 4-tier steel food container (provided by consumers). Two 4-tier food containers are needed in order for the caterer to swap the filled container with empty one on each delivery. It will be quick and convenient when you wish to warm up the food if these containers are compatible with an induction cooker.

I am catering home cooked indian food (3 dishes from a lady in SS15. She is very cheap and her food is very tasty. But she does not do delivery. You will have to collect it from her house. Her number is 017-2118625. She speaks English.

Perhaps you want to try this Filipina cooking. She's married to Sabahan - so perhaps she's familiar with Sabah / Malaysian cuisines too... she does not deliver - you have to pick it from her place - I have been to her appartment once. It's clean. Call Mariana 0122633390

If you want good briyani food to be catered, do call Mr Tariq (016-4171007), they are caterers from Penang with very good quality just starting up in KL.

Oh yea, do say that Aaron referred you.
