it's not Banting yet, it is at Jinjalong. Sure got crowd but the traffic is not too bad this year, there is better control and more car parks.

    go there earlier

i went there last nite, they closed ard 10.15pm. once they turned off the lantern light, u will have nothing to see.

the later u go, the crowded the place. its not too far from usj, ard 30 min drive only depending on how fast u drive, i drove 90km/hr.

very beautiful place, i saw some foreigners there too. must bring camera, u will love the place.

I accidentally went a few days earlier than the opening...they already had most of the lanterns up and lit...it is quite lovely...

me, I would go there in time for sunset...it gets dark pretty fast after 7:30, so you can enjoy the lanterns in the twilight and the darkness.

Plan to be there from around 7:30-8:30. Chances are most others will be coming later on as they have to get past their own local traffic jam, eat dinner, etc...

    Cheers, m

went there last nite, but the traffic was kind of bad (weekend and CNY mode still there), you will see lots of tourist bas and not forgetting the cars...but it's was worth the long trip from KL. free admission (wow) but have to pay SV. Good place for their foods, all veg good 4star my personal opinion and family members...(or we were hungry) due to the sudden storm coming in, but guess Buddha was nice, no rain after all...good concert and best place to do photography with the huge crowds...there are still have great event this coming sat and sun as per their handouts.might go there again!!!

coming out not too bad, only jam at the road going to kesas high for SV, else it was a smooth ride way back....maybe u can try going back via the klia route..(not familiar). highly recommended place to visit.....a tourist place in Jenjarom (before Banting)...a ala hokkien town...didn't know it's was a gangster town before...pay toll as usual on the way back to SV.

I was there on Saturday night. Here are some shots to share with those who are wondering what it's all about. But warning. Traffic was very congested especially when getting out from the temple road and also at the traffic light of the Kesas interchange. Rgds.
