    Bird Nest

my friend ask me if i want to buy bird nest as he will be going back to Kuching during the CNY holiday. The bird nest is originated from east malaysia. According to him the quality is top of the world. 3pcs for RM 188 & 7 pcs for RM 288 special price for me. My question:-

    1) is it true that East Mal bird nest is better in quality?
    2) is the price reasonable?
    3) what is bird nest for. what are the benefits eating bird nest
    4) is it really good for health or just gimmicks
    5) how do i cook bird nest. is there any specific recipe. eg. mix with ginseng or something like that.

IMHO, there is no scientific explanation on how bird's nest can improve one's health.

want better health? have a proper diet, ie lots of fresh fruits and vege, balanced protein and carbo, exercise, well you know the rest. this has been proven for ages.

It's true that bird nest is cheaper at east malaysia ... since most of it is originated from this part of the world ....

3 pcs for RM188 and 7pcs for RM288 is not that cheap at all .... i can get 7 pcs for RM175 at Miri ..... but this is a special price since a group of us here always buy from this particular shop ....

i'm not sure what nutrition can we get from bird nest ... but i'm very certain it's better than shark fin soup .... which dun give any nutrition at all .... :-)
