Shuttle Buses from Subang Parade to LCCT

I was told that shuttle buses from Subang Parade to LCCT KLIA ceased operation. Can someone confirm this and what is the reason?

Yup my friend...I mentioned it in my thread Airasia, MAS and Fax..

The reason being as I was told when I wanted to check the few days before their cessation for my intended trip to Kuching... was that the response from Subang Jaya was very poor.

    Sad but true.

That's true, the service stopped sometime early this month although the Subang Parade promotional phamlets still say that the service will be until Jan 2008.

Can't blame them for discontinuing the service as the pax load is poor. There were times when I was the only pax. Really sad as I find the service extremely convenint, comfortable and cheap. Hope they restart the service again when there is more demand.

Is there any overnight economical n safe parking facility offered for commuters taking the services..? Maybe this is just what Subang Parade need to do to make it a success.

Subang Parade still has to develop the SW corner of Jalan SS16/1 and the Carrefour entrance road...I believe there is a plan for an office/commercial tower there...

I would definitely like to see a parking garage with bridge connection to Carrefour...and overnight parking would also be included...

My hope is that the Subang Jaya LRT station would have been built over Jalan Jengka between Subang Parade and the Consplant buildings...it would have been an ideal location, with easy access to development on both sides of the road...as well as the new developments along Jalan SS16/1

m thinks that the time has come for Subang Jaya to start changing its focus on suburban life and start developing a more "urban" focus...in the city centre area.

A proper place for public transportation, permanent parking on the streets, and space for pedestrians will be absolutely necessary soon.

    Cheers, m

Thank for the head up. Glad with this addition. Previously only at sunway pyramid offer bus to go SG.

like to see multi-storey public parking building build next to the KTM station and walking bridge connected to Subang Parade.

My friend asking me to send him to KL Sentral on Tuesday at 4.30am to catch the bus to LCCT. Didn't know there's a bus departing from here. Appreciate the contact number to check. Thank you.

    Yes...apparently it is on..

Got the time table from Subang Parade info counter...however..

Bus departs from SP at 7am onwards...so that is out for the early morning flights.
    Last departure at 8pm..from SP.
    Departure hourly.

Returning trip from LCCT: 1st bus leaves 9.30am...last bus leaves 9.30pm..so thats no good if u return on last flight past 9pm from anywhere..

Price is at RM 30 (non-memebers) & RM 15 - 18 ( members )...never knew there is a club for NICE...

    Kids at RM 5 only.

Contact: 56387579 at SP or Nice info line : 22721586/3634/7379..

    Hope this is informative...

The only problem is that you must buy in advance from the info counter. Cannot buy suka suka when wan to go.

If you are going to Singapore, try the First Coach from Holiday Villa.

The cost is lower than the Nice Bus (65, irrc, RM115 for return trip) and you go directly to Singapore via the 2nd Link.

Nice bus stops in JB first and uses the Causeway and it costs RM80
