Subang Jaya Jam Is a Breeze
I just got back from Jakarta. From the airport to Senayan takes two hours. The distance is likened to Subang Airport to Kuala Lumpur. #3 lane becomes 5 lanes and chaotic cris-crosses by every vehicle in the blaring heat of 34 degrees.
We went to play golf in Bogor raya. On the way home , from the clubhouse at 6.30pm it takes 1 hour to get out of the small town to the Highway and another 1 1/2 hour to Hotel Mulia in Senayan, Jakarta. By the time we arrived, it is 9pm.
In comparison to subang jaya and federal highway, our jam is a breeze. After visiting Bangkok, Hanoi, Pnom Penh, Jakarta , we are very very much better.
However, among the SEA countries , Singapore is the most efficient. No wonder they are so dynamic and productive.
While I was there, I met hordes of civil servants enjoying themselves apparently oblivious of bacon and ham being served together in buffet dishes.
I bounce into a senior malaysian civil servant and ask why he did not go out.
His reply was that he receive sms that the indons will redempt
against malaysian on the 'karate coach incident" . However, when I read the local Jakarta Post, it was surprising to note that they conducted a forum on the incident and majority of their citizen takes ABB's apology with pride and forgiveness.
By the way, besides all the topsy tuffy jam, I was showered with great hospitality and great satisfaction that I would not mind going through the jam again.
