Bus Operators owe the police Rm20million

This is unbelievaible, for the police to allow the fines to accumulate to this heafty amount of 20million and allow these bus compainies to carry passengers even after issuing these summons.
Some of these offences could be for speeding, no licence, on drugs, non maintained vehicles, worn out tyres, etc etc, obviously very serious offences .
How can those authorities concerned have the the audacity to allow the drivers to carry passengers on these buses, arent the buses and the drivers putting the lives of the passengers in jeopardy?

The police should be taken to task and an enquiry made to how this can happen. The police seem not to care for the welfare of the passengers.. They are as guility as the bus operators.

Exactly, it all boils down to corruption of the system and the lackadaisical attitude of the police and the relevent authorities

Time and again, I've said..FINES do NOT solve problems neither its the best solution.
Question is..WHAT will THEY DO WITH 20mil?.. A history of unaccountability and non transparency has made me distrust them to the max. PDRM can't even get their own IT services with JPJ on the right track or with full efficiency from Day 1 till todate. From fines or taxes..its still money from the rakyat. I really don't understand what's the objective in letting mainstream media to scoop this news of RM20mil fines to be collected. Its damn well exposes PDRM's past or current weaknesses and incompetence. Just shut the F up, collect the fines EFFICIENTLY and put it some productive use. They don't pay up..HAUL THEM TO COURT, and revoke their licences the next day...What else could I say except that I weep for Malaysia!.
But again.."HAUL THEM TO COURT"..another probable joke..which the highly inefficient and long winded proceedures hamper appropriate and swift action.
ITS ALL IN THE SYSTEM.. A FAILED SYSTEM..by whom?.. you know lah!.
FAILED ENFORCEMENT + A FAILED SYSTEM = ??.. obvious answer..

It is ironic that the authorities are powerless when they deal with the bus companies!

The police must start to dig in on the permit owners and I m sure they will find many UMNO-has-beens in there.

What else they will do for a living once they leave office?

I just wonder how much are all the summonses combined worth? Combined here means not only from the bus companies, but from wherever and whatever companies or government agencies, and, yes, including those elected representatives (we know some of them are hard-core).

The police are really useless when it comes to collecting the fines and taking action against the violators as seen from this present and past episodes.

No wonder we are not seeing any improvement in terms of road safety in this country because those who do wrong know they can get away with it time and again.

Something must really be done to the police department concerned to buck up in this enforcement of the fines, otherwise it would not be fair to us law-abiding motorists, who can only envy those who break the laws and gets away with it, and further more, having the LHDN breathing down our necks for more moolah!

no one seems touchable these days......like no rules can hold anyone down. Like the rempits can now hit the cops, buses can still run with millions of summons in the pocket, what else....big datuks committing corruptions can go scott free...what else is there? I sometimes wonder if our police force has any position or significance in Malaysia. What use is the police force if they can only do very little...

Folks, Now you see the consequences coming to light so soon?
Not enough buses for coming holidays due to sudden strict enforcement exercises?
Its CRIPPLING the already sub-standard transportation services in this country.
It appears Bus companies have been HAPPILY SELLING their services for donkey years.. even PRICE INCREASE to the rakyat without exposing the facts there can exist an UNQUANTIFIED amount of risk for every passenger on every trip. Malaysia Boleh!
I don't have to spell out and its all over the news what sins have been exposed from these guilty bus companies. Malaysia Boleh Again!
1976 was start of KL minibuses -Temporary measure..YES! TEMPORARY FOR the next 15 years!. Think I've forgotten ah?..
That LK*** hotline number displayed on the back of EVERY licenced commercial vehicle on the road. Its NOW EXPOSED that it has weaknesses and summarily concluded as NOT AN EFFECTIVE measure or implementation..no doubt the bosses went on air to say they're doing their best to improve. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT?!.. I tried calling their HOTLINE a few occasions whilst on the road to attempt to make a report I get an ENGAGED TONE!. So much for "progress" here.
To the Minister.. YOU should RESIGN!.. its clear you're at the TOP of the failures for issues under your jurisdiction!. The failures are outnumbering the achievements further. Not good!
So folks?..see how this gahmen has failed you?..one of the tips of MANY ICEBERGS!.
Don't get me wrong..THIS IS NOT some personal vendetta or hating the gahmen but merely to point out its failures that affects the rakyat at large!.
Look me in the eye and tell me SEMUA OK ????
