    Ways to KLCC and Putrajaya

    Hi all,

I'm new at this forum and also for Malaysia. I'm now at the Sheraton Subang and have only 3 days to discover as much as posible the beauty of the country, after the working time. I planned to spend 1 afternoon in Putrajaya and one in KLCC, visit Petronas twin tower and have a look at Lowyat.

So, would you please show me the simple and not-expensive ways (bus, train ...) to go to Putrajaya and to KLCC from the Sheraton hotel or maybe the Carrefour supermarket.

    Your help is appreciated!

    BRs

Okay, i can help you to KLCC. Jump on the KTM the station is behind Carrefour and at Sentral Station catch the LRT that will stop at the entrance of KLCC . To go to Low Yat catch the Monorail also from outside of Senteral Station. Do enjoy yourself.
I do hope someone will help you to Putrajaya.

At Putrajaya Sentral station you can try to use the Nadi Putra bus service...but it is probably easier and more convenient for you to negotiate with a taxi driver to take you around to a few sights...so you dont end up losing time waiting for a bus.

Another option to get to KLCC...is walk from the Sheraton to the bus stop across from the North Block of the Subang Jaya Medical Centre.

Take RapidKL bus T623 to Kelana Jaya LRT station (the last stop) and take the LRT all the way to KLCC.

The LRT also stops at KL Sentral.

For Low Yat Plaza, take the monorail from KL Sentral to Imbi or Bukit Bintang Station. There are lots of shopping complexes in this area.

    Enjoy your time in Malaysia.

    Cheers, m

@firefox: thanks for your quick reply
That means I need to go to the KL Sentre in order to go to KLCC and Low Yat. Btw, the KTM Station behind Carrefour is a little far from the Sheraton Hotel. Maybe the RapidKL bus T623 to Kelana Jaya LRT station, as AllUrban suggested, is more convenient for me.

To JoeJaffar: thanks for your help
So I will get onto the ERL Transit at the KL Sentral Station to go to the Putrajaya (it's also the last stop, isn't it?).

To AllUrban: thanks for your detailed instructions
I just visited Sunway Pyramid last night. Impressed, walk alot, bought something. But I think I can see more things at Low Yat and China town at more reasonable prices (is it true?) tonight.
About Putrajaya, that's a good idea to negotiate with a taxi driver for a tour around the city. But because I only have free time after 5PM, I don't know if it is ok to visit Putrajaya at the evening?

Once again, thank you all for your help. I just spent 2 days in Malaysia, see that the Malaysians are very nice, friendly, always ready to help. And now I know it's true not only in the streets, but also on the cyberworld.

    Cheers,

yeah, a good idea...another option, go for the lake cruise in the evening...sunset is around 730 here, so if you go to Putrajaya around 6 you can join the cruise at 7ish....

Putrajaya is the second stop from KL Sentral, after Tasik Selatan

    Hi all,

I just spent my last 3 days in Malaysia to go for shopping the shopping centers in KL (MidValey, LowYat ...). There are a lot of things to buy and they are really attractive. I visited PutraJaya on Friday. It's very impressive. Beautiful and superb!

I went to Genting on Saturday and spent most of the time at the Outdoor theme park. It's exciting and interesting. I came back to Vietnam yesterday and now typing the thanks words to you all for the helpful guidelines that helped me a lot these days.

    Best regards,
    Pierre
