crispy fresh kacang putih
Please recommend your favourite kacang putih stalls preferably PJ, Puchong, USJ. I like the one on motobike outside Digital Mall Sec 14 PJ but he only comes for about 30mins during lunch time. Sometimes hard to catch. Other stalls are sometimes disappointing, not fresh and too salty.
The place i buy my peanuts /kaching putih of all kinds are at Carrefour. they are found in large containers just weigh them and buy...very fresh indeed too. Btw the motor bike guys buy these stuff from the wholesellers not so tasty..after eating very thirsty.

Firefox, where do you get your kacang puteh fix these days? Still buy them at Aeon (formerly Carrefour)? I know there is one kiosk at Mid Valley Megamall. However, it is too far for me, parking is a nightmare and the prices tend to cause a dent on me wallet!

The cheapest is from Kampong Kacang Putih in Ipoh but unless you happen to be in Ipoh for another purpose, it isn't cost effective to drive there just to buy kacang putih.
However, there is another bulk kacang putih supplier in KL. He supplies at pasar malam etc. I only know that this Indian family sells in the Sunday evening "pasar malam" from 4pm near the mosque at Bangsar (in the Telawi area). I think his prices are almost as cheap as in Kg Kacang Putih Ipoh.
Sorry, I don't remember the prices. I just buy in 1 kg bags (bagged and weighed on the spot - not prepacked)
Fancy to read a packet of kacang putih can 'cause a dent on me wallet.'
Aiya, dun eat lah, it's not healthy.
I'm glad I put a smile on your face.
