Talking Condo Living In Subang Jaya

    Hiya all,

Just wondering, if one looks at the recent boom in serviced apartments in Subang Jaya under the guise of serviced apratments, could some enlighten us as to:

    a. What is serviced apartments like Jana Towers, Empire Subang, Saujana Residency, Subang Avenue, ETiara and TiaraVille provide? I thought serviced apartments are like hotels?
b.Which of those mentioned above is a better deal to buy?

    Cheers!

my advice is... don't even consider any of those. there are so many residential condos in subang jaya, why would you want to live and pay more in a serviced apartment. TNB and indah water rates are much higher. the location isn't too great here due to the congestion. if you like to live near subang parade or carrefour, i think the RM300k-RM400k for a unit here can buy you a link house in ss15 or ss17, within walking distance to the shopping malls and no need to pay maintenance fees.

Ya was looking around for rental last month; at E-tiara and Boulevard. Quite small unit for E and too expensive for the big unit in Boulevard. Diff of stayng at condo in Subang area is safety, especially with kids and small family. Saw a few; Archadia, Indera and Sri Bayu. Not bad. I think for investment, Archadia is good except it's a walk-up apartment. Got one similar condo at SS18 (walk-up).

i can tell u guys for one thing about indera......if u want a second parking u have to wait VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY long. some of the residents here have been staying for centuries!! note that i have used words of exaggeration as it is virtually impossible to gain an additional parking.

    Etiara

Is etiara populated as yet? Has anyone moved in? It looks empty. Any ideas what the rents are going for and who would the population be like?

Try Court 8,9 or 10. They are serviced by lifts.

Im happy at lafite...actually, the design even resembles my old home in Canada (I lived in that place for 16 years).

Of course, it is a "walk-up" apartment in that I have to "walk-up" the hill but hey, Im young....

A few of my colleagues are now living at e-tiara...maybe it will start to pick up when the major construction of the Tiara Ville apartments stops soon .... of course, then the major construction of the Subang Villa apartments starts

    Cheers, m

I almost bought Arcadia. I like the location. I saw a unit I liked, offered the seller a price and he agreed, through the agent and when I wanted to pay the down payment he changed his mind. Wasted my mind. Bought fairville apartment instead. No issues with that place. Didnt need a pool so an apartment was all that was required. Lesser to pay for maintenance.

I still think acadia is nice and it is not so densely populated like the goodyear courts where the apartments are all over (my personal opinion).
