from the PLUS AGM, notice that there was abt 1.37 b due from the govt to PLUS.Part of the settlemt will be 361 mil for 8 years extension.( 2030 to 2038)

1) Base on the figure, govt assume that PLUS will be collecting abt 700 mil for the entire 8 years( base on the 50% net margin ) =

700 mil/8 years/365 days = rm239726 per day, rm7191780 per mth, 86 mils per year. which of the govt officer have done this figure? Does he know that PLUS is collecting how much per year at the moment? 563 MILS for 3 mths!!!! more than 2 BIL per year.

the 361 MILS should just settle for 3 mths extension not 8 YEARS.....

base on this, why not govt just pay up the 361 mil? this not the big money at all?

base on this, can govt or may be EPF offer 361 mils per 8 years to take over the toll collection from PLUS? How abt 800 mils offer by EPF to take over the toll for 16 years? This may much better than the RHB deal.

2) the PLUS is taking over port dickson-seremban highway as part of the settlement, the amt be 50 mils. The govt is paying over 200 mils to PLUS for taking over the senai expressway. Senai expressway is just less than 3KM, so i assume PD-SER shall be around 500 meter. Or else, why there is so much different ?

3) The govt is paying 1 BIL to plus for the upgrading of the highway. Why should we tax payers pay for the cost and still need to pay for the toll?

just hope that a reporter will ask the relevant ministry regard this issue or anyone bringing up for public awareness.
