Residents have been threatened by MPSJ on several occasoins to remove security barriers as a result of complaints on this restaurant. Totally unrelated issues - the barriers and the dirty restaurant... A get even??? But WHY by MPSJ???

If the Press is called in, residents may lose all their security efforts made through the years...PERIOD.

    BULLY???

Most recent pix to share.... Fish scales (small white dots all over the road) was thrown on the road surface & later washed into residential drains.

Soon, all those yucky stuffs from the shop will be channelled into ponds, rivers, lakes and underground water - thus polluting our waters & the environment!

Gosh! Hope that we will not eventually get recycled water fr these sources...

Nearby pond about 0.1km from the shop, heavily polluted with floating murky, greasy stuffs & lots of rubbish too. These "icky floaters" will eventually flow into our rivers & seas. The shop is practising the "dump & forget" policy!

This is the other pond apart from that of Subang Ria in the USJ/Subang area. Nevermind it is a retention pond or a lake. Water is supposed to be clean to prevent downstream water pollution.

We humans are our own worst enemies - bulldozing & destroying the environment in the name of development! MPSJ being the agency entrusted with managing & administering the locality does NOT appear to be perturbed by such pollution happening right under their nose!

It takes two to clap. One for dumping the pollution and the other to close one eye and semua ok!

This is totally disgusting! i.e. "residents have been threatened by MPSJ indirectly!!!"

What sort of world are we living in now??

But I still think highlighting to the press is important. USJ folks have to do things one step at a time. After having a clean area, then highlight on security!

Tq. Already did. Arranging for a site visit & press to clarify with MPSJ first.

Meanwhile, KW Chang had previously mentioned before that JKP Zone 3 leader were interested to highlight on eatery cleanliness around USJ/Subang areas. Please contact me if we can work together on this matter.

I've sent emails earlier, but there were no replies. JKP Zone 2 was also alerted since day one too.

I hope our community leaders realise that this is a serious problem - NOT just a localised problem but affects everyone in our community! Polluting & dirtying the environment is a serious offence!!!

JKPs, USJRA & all our community leaders out there -how can you help???

I thought you were not in favour in highlighting it to the authorities because it was mentioned earlier that residents got bullied.

but anyways, congrats. I am glad that it gets highlighted and we can live in a better environment.

We're being "bullied" left, right and center. Time to stand up & fight for our RIGHTS!

Informing the press is just the beginning. Lots of obstacles out there b4 it is eventually highlighted. Lots of things cannot be mentioned in here but I still hope that community leaders in our midst would come & help, if they belong & feel strongly for this community!

Clogged & broken drains normal causes of FLASH FLOODS

...SMART Tunnel and water retention ponds were built to prevent storm floods and could only help to resolve some of the flash floods. This was because the flash floods were normally due to local problems such as clogged and broken drains.

flash floods occur because there is no way for the collected rainwater to flow out...

...advised consumers not to throw rubbish into the drains if they do not want flash floods in their area.

Commented by Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Azmi Khalid.

    http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp...sec=parliament

Why is then our local council is ENCOURAGING irresponsible & inconsiderate people to dirty our environment & clog our drains???

Even worse now that MPSJ is also encouraging hawkers to sprout uncontrollably around our USJ/Subang neighbourhood. Off topic...Did you know that food handlers in all eatery shops hv to take Typhoid injections but food handlers operating stalls need not hv to do so???

This fact is informed by restaurant owners. The people are angered with the "Selective Enforcements" and/or Double standards! More news & pixs after this...

    Another "Rotten" Planning???

What an ackward place to have a hawker KIOSKS. Right in front of soon-to-be 4-lane highway???

Already, customers patronizing the illegal hawkers there have reduced the traffic to a single lane due to their inconsiderate attitude - double parking in the middle of the road.

Are the planners of this 'small but significant' development asking for more troubles and/or waiting for more tragedies to happen????????

Exact location of the "Tapak Gerai" fronting Persiaran Setia & beside SM USJ12 school in relation to the 'soon-to-be' ready 4-lane highway connecting USJ to Batu 3

MPSJ signage already erected for the construction of the "Tapak Gerai"

Illegal hawkers (some with MPSJ umbrellas) have already been operating for years even before MPSJ's approval. MPSJ enforcement vehicles are always seen passing by this area, but the traders appeared "untouched" as they've continued to operate as usual till today...

What world are we living in now? Or does it happen only to 'unfortunate' folks here in M'sia??? Which JKP Zone does this fall under?

I have got in touch with Mr Lee You Lin the MPSJ councillor as my point of contact and requested him via phone call and an email to him to seek more information from MPSJ and get back to me. The residents in my area will then take further action from there. As nobody can say whether this is under JKP Zon 3 or Zon 2's responsibility as it sits on the no man land, I called Gilbert Yeoh, the Zon 2 Chairman and since we cannot come to any conclusion, I take this issue up in my personal capacity and not under Zon 2 which I am now a committee member as I live near there (200 metre radius). I contacted the councillor since I am a tax payer too. I pay all my assessment and therefore have the right to voice my utter disappointment that someone has no brain to locate the hawker centre there smack at the bottle neck.
