    Spanish movie with no subtitle

    Recently i downloaded a movie form the internet, unfortunately i cant seem to activate the sub title for the movie.

    So throughout the 40mins of the showi have been learning Spanish.

    Anyone got any clue as to activation of the subtitle?

    Player?

    State your video player, Windows Media Player? Real Player? Quicktime?

    Chances are you can browse the settings via right click on the screen. Or just refer to the video player's help file.

    let me guess...Pan's labyrinth?
    if u downloaded a movie, most of the time, it's without the subtitle file.
    what movie file did u downloaded? AVI? RMBV?
    check to see whether u have subtitle SRT or SUB file?
    what player do u use? VideoLAN? Windows Media Player?

    if u use window media player, my guess is that ur player will not auto load the subtitle. u might need to download a codec for it (i dl virtualdub or something like it).

    first check if it already has a subtitle file then all u need is go to file > option > subtitles (or could be external subtitle) > enable it.

    if it doesn't work then dl a codec (i think u can get help from videohelp.com) and after installing it the subs will auto load when u play the movie (provided the sub and the movie same file name e.g. pan's labyrinth.avi and pan's labyrinth.srt)

    I'll explain to u using Nero Showtime format k?

    U right click the .avi file > open with > Nero Showtime.

    Once it starts playing, click on the small arrow icon on the left panel > a numpad will pop out > click on the icon (like a keyboard) next to num 3 > external subtitle > file > look for the .srt file > enable.

    that should work it for u.

    (in case my instruction is wrong here, I will go home and recheck it but generally if u can pop out the num pad and find the small icon next to number 3, u should do fine).
