    Arrow Account Update

To all those who had donated so generously, we owe you and update of the latest account status. But just before I do that, please be aware that Orchi has still been doing all the legwork. He would take an advance of RM500 each time from me, check with the home on their needs, run around doing all the marketing and then submit the bills to me before he takes another cash advance.

    Total donation: RM 7316.

Total expenditure to date: Rm 3454.71

    Balance: Rm 3861.29

Trust the account is in order. Anyone interested to do an audit is most welcomed. Regards.

    Stuffed Toys

Patrick, one of my friends screwed up big time, actually his order clerk was the culprit, and double-ordered some stuffed toys from China. These are really good export-quality stuffed toys like Giraffe (Girafah), Elephant (Gajah), Kangaroo (frankly I dunno Kangaroo in Malay)...

I am getting about 30 of these from my friend and hope to pass them to the children either thru you or Orchipalar, can?

BTW I am aka Han2 but got banned from this forum so I only kadang-kadang sneak in with a post or two, pls contact me if okay.

I have about 8-9 packets of Dugro 3-6YO milk powder that I'll like to give them. How can I hand it to them?

Ha ha... let Orchi check first if they require stuffed toys. I know many homes actually dont want stuffed toys because they dont even have place to store them!

As for Han2....heh..heh...dont we know that!

Let me point this out to Orchi, failing which I will collect and send it there.

Err buddies...just in case anyone might wonder how the remaining balance might still be substantial after such long time...

Well...there are times whenever Orchi isn't free to do marketing for supplies to the Home...there have been times in between those months...where kind forumers have been sending the supplies to the Home individually...out of their own expenses...

Orchi appreciates their kindness n assistance...very very much...TQ.

Oh btw...any regular supplies of foodstuffs are most welcomed to the Home...
but stuffed toys would not be suitable...as the stuffed toys may get to be mishandled in the midst or gotten dirty n all...

There should not be any 'fighting' for the favorite toys amongst the childrens there also...

    Thanks for the kindest thoughts...nonetheless.

Obviously bruder Orchi is quite buzzzy these days. But no problem. If ysgst can pm me with the house address and contact number, I can come by to pick up the stuff and pass it to the home. Can only visit the home this Sat 8 Nov. Otherwise got to wait till month end. Rgds.

    FINAL UPDATE:

After Bruder Orchi's last posting in Nov 2008, he was still purchasing groceries for the home until sometime in 2011 when he told me he was no longer able to continue due to work commitment. In May 2011, I took over the purchase and delivery of the supplies.

I concentrated more on the needs of the home by calling them to check on their requirement for fresh produce, which were the least donated items. Most visitors would bring canned food and packed stuff.

When I took over from bruder Orchi, the balance in the fund was RM3861.29. My last official purchase for the home was on 13 June 2015 and the sum balance was
-RM 81.03 . This meant I spent an extra 81.03 out of my pocket. In between, like bruder Orchi, there were purchases from me which were also out of my pocket expenses as they were difficult to obtain bills and therefore difficult to account for as the purchases were made from the wet market. Most of the official purchases that I made and properly accounted for were from the Supermarkets with proper receipts.

I thought of scanning and posting the bills here but there are too many and some are not very legible due to poor print quality. Anyone who had donated in this project is most welcomed to audit the account. Please email me to make arrangement to meet at a convenient location.

I now treat this Project as completed other than the auditing part.

Once again, we Thank all those who had contributed to this very charitable cause. For your info, the Home will also be moving to their new premises along the LDP near to BHP Petrol Station sometime towards the end of this year.

    Regards.

Thanks Patrick for a good job well done. If you would consolidate all those expenses you spent from your own pocket plus the ending RM81.03 I can reimburse you for that... please let me know..
