    Marrybrown

Anyone seen any Marrybrown outlet around SJ/Shah Alam? My pregnant wife is craving for marrybrown's spicy seafood porridge and I just can't find it.

I don't think there is any Marrybrown outlet in Subang Jaya or Shah Alam. However, there is one in Metro Prima Shopping Centre (Jusco) in Kepong and another in Zoo Negara.

haiiya! so far away Marrybrown website is more interested in selling its franchise rather than its products. Should have a list of their outlets...

yes. I tried searching for you last night and there is nothing much in www.marrybrown.com.my

anyways, just to "suppress" your wife's hunger while the forumers here help to search for marrybrown locations, maybe your wife would like to have a look at the jpg of the food

    source: http://www.genting.com.my/en/retaile...rrybrown02.jpg

Also, she may want to read the history of Marrybrown : http://www.genting.com.my/en/retaile...marrybrown.htm

haha I am not so bad lah....

anyways, I found one in Klang which is quite close to Shah Alam

    Based on the URL http://www.mpklang.gov.my/eng/klang/...taurants.shtml,
Advance Target Sdn Bhd (Marrybrown) 19 & 21 Jalan Temoh, 41400 Klang
but I have got no idea where is that. So please look into your A-Z Map

There is one in Seri Kembangan based on http://www.southcity.com.my/f_tenant.htm

or perhaps you could phone up Marrybrown yourself
    Marrybrown Fried Chicken
    http://www.marrybrown.com.my/
    Tel: 07-331 6590
    (Fast Food Chain, Fried Chicken)
    from URL (http://www.expat.com.my/xdining.htm)

    Finally
I know you didn't ask for Johor Bahru but for your info,
    based on URL http://www.mycen.com.my/malaysia/restaurant_02.html
    Marrybrown Fried Chicken
    http://www.marrybrown.com.my/
Office: 111A-B Jalan Sri Pelangi, 80400 Johor Bahru
    Tel: 07-331 6590, Fax: 07 333 7899
Halal, Type: Fast Food Chain, Cuisine: Fried Chicken

there is also one in Genting

hhtee , thanks for the info..

Our first taste with marrybrown was actually after the big flood at Segamat. While the kings of fast food (mcd, kfc, pizzahut) were closed down marrybrown remained open. The foods were mostly sold out except for the porridge - and we loved it since. It's just a simple dish with 4 premixed ingredients placed on top, nothing fancy or enticing. It's a pity that it's hard to find the outlets here, I might try to look out for the Klang outlet though.

oh yeah, before you go, it is best to find out whether there is an outlet there. Maybe you could phone up the Marrybrown HQ. Don't wanna disappoint your wife and yourself i.e. when you arrive, it's shifted or something like that.

Oh do note that Jalan Temoh is very near Jalan Goh Hock Huat. Jalan Goh Hock Huat is FAMOUS for Pondans (Transvetites). So don't be too shock if you see sexy "women" walking around in Saree, Dress, etc. Also, along along Jalan Goh Hock Huat is the chinese shool, SMJK (C) Pin Hwa. Some popular landmarks around these areas are the Royal Comfort Hotel and Goldcourse Hotel.

Oh... in that case, I know definitely Ocean is not there anymore!

So looks like the best thing to do is to phone up Marrybrown HQ and ask for where their outlets are
