Subscribing to broadband without a phone line?

is there any way to do that? i don't see myself needing a land line, and to get a line just for internet purpose is a bit costly.
my handphone has no gprs capability, so for now, gprs is not an option.
is there any broadband provider who has a solution for this?
or sigh...i have no other option that the two above?

Satellite broadband also does not require a phone line. Do check it out at www.smartmalaysia.com
