Air Asia flight to Manchester at RM9.99

unbelieviable!!, how is it possible, anyway anything is possible with Tony! Even if its rm500 return i will be at Old Trafford every weekend to watch my Favourite team in action, what a prospect to look forward too.

thanks to Air Asia and Datuk Tony Fernandes to make this world to shrink and to make flying accessible to all.

    Ah! A fellow Red Devil!
Yes at RM9.99, it would be a tantalising thought.

Only 10 seats? Cheh, no chance lah like that...

balitan. If RM200 - RM300 only, I'd be really happy! I'm actually expecting it to be about RM700 - RM800 after airport tax and fuel charges.

Never say never...check out Ryan Air (see link below) on how they make flights cheap.

The main idea is that they are not selling seats. Now that's a paradigm that MAS need to look at.

i have a feeling the bulk of the seats will be more than that... wonder how much meals and entertainment will cost

we all have to wait and see what will be actual cost minus food which we can buy from outside i suppose .. lets not be unduly speculative n obviously there will be a rush for these tickets.

Any Msian airline that can serve genuine mamak-style teh tarek and roti canai on board it's aircraft will have my instant loyalty!

Though how the cabin crew are going to tarek the teh and fry up the roti canai in flight remains to be seen.

Still, if MAS can serve decent satay and nasi lemak to it's First Class passengers, I suppose anything is possible.

MAS does have teh tarik, which unfortunately the poor crew has to "pull" between 2 small glasses! And interestingly, they have started serving "roti pusing" on some local sectors - which is basically roti bom, complete with dhal curry. Have also seen roti jala of late as well.... teh tarik and satay is unfortunately for Business Class & First Class only, but i think you may get the rest in Economy....
