That's interesting. I read in the newspaper that the Summit pedestrian bridge is also crime prone late at night.

There is. Most of these robber are thugs too and couldn't care less about drawing attention in public when they rob someone. So they frequent places where people are. Pedestrian bridges are easy spots for potential robbery. As for the Summit bridge...robberies can happen when people cross paths with those robbers. The SS18-USJ2 bridge is more lonely. I think even a rape can happen there.

Why are you not reading the Crime Reports?

    How wrong you can be............

    You want a list?

OK Iíll give you a list.

Subang Jaya area Ė average of 15 cases of crime reported in a week
Most crime committed in SS15 area, these include stolen Motor cycles, Cars, Snatch Thieves, Robbery etc. So just be extra careful when you are in this area.

USJ area Ė average of 33 cases of crime reported in a week
    We have many house break-ins in USJ1, USJ2, USJ6, USJ9, USJ11
Most motorcycles get stolen in USJ1 (Summit, Mydin) and near Apartment blocks.
Cars get stolen from USJ1, USJ2, USJ6, USJ11 and the areas near apartments.
Laptops are the most frequently stolen item in USJ10 and Summit, probably from the cars parked there.

Putra Heights area Ė average of 3 cases of crime reported in a week
It is a relatively safe area except for the occasional Housebreak in in the Putra Bestari area and some stolen vehicles in the Apartment block area.

I have formed these opinions from reading the weekly reports that we get from the Police Stations in these areas.

So why are you not reading it too? Donít know where to find them? Here go study the reports yourself

I notice most people donít really care much about the Police reports that is until a crime happens to them. And it is really sad that the same types of crime happen again and again in the same areas.

Let me repeat this again, we are the only Community in Malaysia where the Police give us their weekly crime report index, no where else in the whole of Malaysia or as far as I know in the whole world does this happen.

So why are the good folks in Subang Jaya with the necessary access not reading them? could it be that they are sure that crime will never happen to them? To these people I say GOOD LUCK and GOD help you.
