Good place for baby's birthday party

Can anyone suggest a nice place for my baby's 1st birthday party? Not too pricey and have a place where all the kids can run and scream (from 1yo to 12 yo).

Hubby and I have been to a couple of fast food joint around PJ, and surprisingly Sec 14 KFC has the best play center of all. But I regress..... I'd like to know besides that place, are there anywhere else I can hold a party? Anyone knows of any restaurants who can do this other than the fast food places? Anywhere around 1 Utama or that area because that's where most of our friends stay, so easier lah.

Besides that, does anyone have a suggestion how to make this party memorable?

You can try kids sports at 1U old wing, located next Pizza Hut on the 3rd floor or there's another one located at the new wing on 2nd floor near Toy City, can't remember the name.

Wah... and here I was thinking of only a nice intimate family gathering of immediate family members for IanC. Well... he still got 6 more months to go....

I'm not a fan of big bashes as well, especially for one so young, because he can't enjoy it, and won't really understand what's happening.

    But hubby wants it!

He got a bunch of really good friends, and wants to invite them, and relatives .... so that's it lah.

My family never celebrate birthdays in a big way as well, and I always remember going to restaurants for a birthday treat with only my immediate family members. Until today, I have never had a birthday party and that's fine because I'm quite a private and shy person.

I would prefer to bring my baby to a kiddy center like KidzSports at 1 Utama or MegaKidz at MidValley and let him crawl around like crazy. *grin*

Anyways, this party is for the everyone and not just for my kid, and it looks like it will be at KFC. But the KFC restaurant we are eyeing has had a minor fire and they are closed .... maybe for a week ... Times arunning and still no venue!

Is it really possible to rent a kiddie playground? Do you know how to do that?
