From Sunway: no direct way into hanging bridge

If you are coming out from Sunway how do you guys access into LDP during rush hour?

Due to LDP and MPSJ superb design for the hanggin bridge, during morning rush hours until 9am, 10am (yes depend on mood), we cannot access into the hanging bridge because LDP workers block using traffic cone.

That's what happened to PJ and TTDI road. They block so that one way gets to KL and the other to Subang. You gotta be a regular road users in those areas to get around, else you are stucked on the wrong lanes.

That is if you are leaving on the Sunway housing area but I am leaving in Ridzuan condo, opposite of Sunway Pyramid, accross NPE. Not easy le to go to Sunway medical during rush hour.

exit from PJS10 at the shoplots area, turn left. Take the uturn just before Sunway pyramid, and make another left turn (into PJS11) at the Esso Station, drive through PSJ11 (Jalan Lagoon Barat), turn left at the lights (Jalan Lagoon Selatan), pass Sunway college and sunway medical, and you are home free....

by making the uturn, you can avoid the jam at the Sunway Mentari area

Actually the residents of Sunway were short changed when the kerinci link came up. The lane in fornt ot the sun inn leading to the traffic life has been compromised to accodomate the highway. Whay do you need such a broad 3 lane underpass???

You can't turn to Esso after the u-turn, it's block la. Beside exitting from pjs10 shoplot area and suddenly you want to make u-turn is very dangerous la because you need to manuevere from the left most lane to the right most lane in a 4 lane highway in short distance!

    So close yet so far!!!
I stayed in PJS7, and everytime I need to access the cable bridge during rush hour, I'll have to go a big big round, coming out from PJS7 into LDP, go up the flyover just b4 the toll, drive to SMC junction, and back to LDP, only then I can access the cable bridge from there.

hahhahaha I didnt design the road...Im just saying what is possible....not necessarily the legal or safest way....

you saw my comments about the Majlis link??? I publically advocated making illegal u turns and knocking down the bolsters...I even sent those comments to the newspapers

Unreal road design is a huge problem in Malaysia...the various sections of the tamans and the jayas are too large for people to walk, and the roads are too small for proper public transport...so everyone has to drive....and all the traffic is funneled onto a few main roads...no wonder they are all jammed

and the solution, of course, is to build more roads, buy more cars, build more highways...disperse traffic, dont you dare reduce it and if tolls have to be increased...oh well, its the cost of convenience...

and as a result of the obsession with roads...neighbourhoods are fragmented...one of the highest traffic collision rates in the world....aggressive driving...unsafe neighbourhoods.

One day you will not be able to cross from any section to any other section without an overhead bridge. I know now how the animals feel when the loggers build roads through the forest...

    Malaysia's newest endangered species...the pedestrian

That's what I do, thanks for the multi milion construction of the cable brigde which is not ergonomic at all for ppl like us.
This is a typical Malaysian tak boleh thing: so many ppl involve in making the road ie. MPPJ, LDP etc to meet their own objective but the rakyat need which is why is whole thing is for, is set aside.
