    Jeff Ooi vs LHB??

Reading the Sunday Star, I am delighted that DAP is courting Jeff and the rst of the bloggers. If this is true, we may have the biggest showdown in Subang Jaya.
Whats your take on this guys? Jeff (or DAP) has a chance of winning??

I think without even being a politician yet, Mr. Ooi is creating more statement and concern about the country more than the other actual politicians that only care to harvest benefits for themselves by virtual of them being so-called politicians. Especially those un-elected second ranked leader or satay leader.

But, it would be good and more down to earth if Mr. Ooi can tune down his air or arrogance / cynicsm when shooting back at critics. That way he certainly be a champion of the people.

Jeff may appeal to the middle class urban educated folks but not to the grassroots Bumi votes. Hard to see him standing up in any election. Politics is a dirty world and i dun think he has the stomach for it. Stick to blogging and raising issues may be more postive for everyone.

I prefer Jeff to remain independent and not be aligned to any political party. I would not say the opposition parties are saints themselves. Power corrupts. And I will not be surprised if he was asked to compromise some of his principals if he is aligned to a party. We need people like Jeff to be the conscience of the nation. Offer people perspectives and let us decide what is right and wrong.

if jeff is an independent candidate, i think it is no harm for us to have an independent assemblyman in subang jaya. i am sure DAP will stand aside. DAP has never put up any credible candidate here in subang jaya. and the last time, their candidate messed up real bad.

    In the 2nd place ...........

Eat your heart out DAP .......

Whosoever, comes thru must set the system in order first.
The system ( I am aware that this is a rather amorphous thingey !!! Cant really put one's finger on it u c !!!), once it is in order and can continue to morph into a better and better one ( as a result of checks and balances that are sorely lacking and therefore need to be put in place ), we dont have to depend on any one personality ( in this case Jeff ) to rescue Malaysia and Malaysians.
If any candidate can face the acid test of public scrutiny ( in all his / her endeavours ) and accept praise and public acrimony ( in the event of mistakes committed ) without burnishing the former and flaming the latter .............
HE / SHE IS MY CANDIDATE
    .
He / She must go in without being afraid of losing the seat that he / she wld have won.
Till such time as the checks and balances are in place, many will fall over each other to bring that candidate down ............. for instance, timber jerks from Jasin, child ( statutory ) rapists from Malacca, Aussie Dollar launderers from Selangor, semua-nya-okay morons from Selangor, AP chicks from blubberland and many many more.
Can that candidate withstand all that and speak with the conviction of a true human a man chosen by the people ?
    If such there breath ....
    Go mark him well .......
For him will all Minstrel raptures swell ......
High will be his titles, Proud his name
Boundless his heavenly wealth as wish can claim ..........
I am sure Sir Walter will forgive me ............

Jeff, this initial step of cleaning the crap in the system ( despite the nay sayers ) needs a man of your calibre.
If you choose to go for it ..... count me in to work in your team.
And I really dont give a rat's ass which political party you are aligned to at that point.

He is already a gerakan member, how can he be an opposition candidate ? Unless he quits gerakan and join DAP.

But there would a 3 way split between MCA, DAP, and Jeffooi. In this case, MCA will win.

Unless either jeffooi or dap pulls out.
