I always go with Australian wine if you cannot afford the good expensive stuff cause Aussie wine taste good even when they are less expensive.

Also,do you know that this coming Thursday, 16 Nov is Beaujolais Nouveau Celebrations Wine Day! Yes, it's a tradition in France. Find out more here http://www.intowine.com/beaujolais2.html

Oh yeah, my fav everyday drinking wine is Yellow Tail Shiraz.

I bought some Long Neck Merlot...giving it a try. Bad idea! First sign of problem...when I poured some into my wine glass, bubbles appeared!! Sparkling? I don't think so.

I even let it breath but that did not help. DO NOT BUY LONG NECK!!!

choosing wine is a matter of trial and error till you find that suits your taste buds..wasnt easy for me too, there are thousands of excellent wines n some can cost a bomb. Some wines bottles do describle the taste of the wine so you can get some idea.
Wines differ according to origin, grape variety, technique of manufacture and age.

btw Brown brothers make white and red wines but i prefer Riesling...my point is your final choice that matters.
