PS2 Advice...

Ok... I know it is a dumb question but PS2 die hards - your input is needed here...

I have been scouting around to get my kids/nieces/nephews their own PS2s. And I have found out that the price range are pretty wide. From RM430 - RM 700. Now why the difference.... Every freaking shop has their own story.

Better (Euro?) mod-chip ( which another shop says; is bullsh!t..)
Internal Cooling Fans ( which another shop says; is impossible to add into the slim designs.. )
Cooling Chip ( Now what the heck is that !!! )
Controllers ( - mostly generics.. if want original, add another RM50! - which looks just like the fake one... )
Generic Laser Lens (another possibility?)
Refurbished UK/US units... ??? How to tell... ??
Memory card - got generic and got Sony originals...

Anyone have a reliable/regular shop that you guys go to... please recommend. By the way, went to an authorised Sony Centre and guess what... they oso sell "chipped" PS2. But don't ask me where la...

Nope... only kids/nieces/nephews are biologically & matrimonially connected gets the PS2s... unless someone turns up with a DNA matched paternity test results...
