I saw shop near Citibank Puchong that sells second hand furnitures. Its on the same row or one/two rows from Citibank. Not sure if they buy used furnitures though, you can ask them. For electrical goods, try cash converters in kelana jaya (next to LDP).
There is a second good store at SS14, facing Jln Kewajipan on the same row as UMW Toyota service ctr. (facing the 3K/BP petrol station/Summit)
There're other such stores in SS2, near Chow Yang/Kayu Nasi Kandar area, and a few in TTDI, near IBM Plaza, behind Secret Recipe.
They pay peanuts for old furniture though. Why don't u organize a yard sale or sell it thru the Flea Market here?
FYI, I remember seeing a cash converter in new Sunway Mentari section.Originally Posted by denver

SS14 as well as those in SS2/TTDI "junk shops" buy/sell mostly office & home furnitures and white goods(fridge) while Cash Converters (PJS8 and Tmn Megah) or Buy Sell Trade(SS15) shops handle mostly small appliances, some computer stuff, watches, jewelry, knick knacks and everything, except furniture and fridges.Originally Posted by pucman

Some shops like the one in Puchong puteri buy in bulk only.
Sorry, don't hv a link or phone no. You may hv to drop by to ask unless other kind forummers here can help with the tel no.
Many years back when I moved house, the TTDI junk shop bought my few rooms full of high quality wardrobe, dining table + thousand-RM mattresses for a song. Furniture worth thousands and still in new condition taken for mere 100-200 RM but I had no choice as there weren't any buyers after I advertised by flyers and I can't take them with me. Didn't hv the online Flea Markets in usj.com back then mah!
Just don't expect too much for a mattress and bed. They may decide it's not worth their transportation cost to bring it back to their shop. If u got a few rooms of furniture to sell, then they'll come to ur house with a lorry and CASH in hand to make an offer on the spot. You've to decide if worthwhile to sell on the spot or pay some other transporter to send these things out of the house to a garbage dump or charity -- your call!See, they hv the bargaining power, not the seller.
I advise u to put it in Flea market section in usj.com to see if anyone is interested.
errrm.... cash converterz duznt take furniture or large appliancez, oni other 2nd hand stuff such as small appliancez, ori cdz n vcdz, decorative itemz, kitchenware, etc....![]()
Yeah, I agreed PJS's suggestion. Please post here on the things you want to sell. Probably some of the forumers need it.
Cheers.
