I seen once in genting for cuban music performance, not bad. but ticket a bit expensive.

Q-Bar in westin hotel is cool! the decoration inside is really Havana Style with a columbian band performing there.

    ahh... now we're talking.

My first taste of BVSC was in the form of the late Ibrahim Ferrer, the famous shoe polisher from Havana, Cuba. What a great purchase that was. Next was Tito Puente. Another great guy who BVSC brought to the fore.

If you guys are into the real Cuban stuff, try these 2 guys, you will have a different look at salsa all together. They don't bring the 'diluted' tunes of Cuba but the very original which is so melodic and vibrant with its rich percussions and talent.

The late Ibrahim Ferrer is definitely a great lost to all of us who appreciate true Cuban music.....

I caught the documentary accidentally 4 years ago and I fell in love with the documentary. Until I visited the States recently, I bought the DVD. It was a pleasure watching again.
I've been salsaing since 2 years and it's one of my most enjoyable moments.
Listening to BVSC on a lazy Sunday, with Ibrahim ferrer's voice is something to look forward to.

I downloaded some of their songs and caught The Bar : BVSC at KL Hilton this year.
Semangat......who salsa's in USJ? Please PM me so we can practise.
