Err...Dear Nina...are you suggesting that the SJ ALERT programme is less meaningful as well...what doubts do you still have...?

Err...as Orchi recalls NOBODY asked about how many vehicles the Police has for use...

The Police has admitted their shortcomings...n they have heard our concerns...why can't we work positively towards contributing to finding various ways...so that we could see some improvement from the Police...rather than harping n dwelling...on their weaknesses...?

Can Orchi get some positive assistance from you whenever we need residents like you to come forward with better n more valuable suggestions in our next or future projects...next time?

Ahem Nina...the ADUN...community representatives n sponsors...have gone on record publicly in the recent press conference...to announce the vehicle donation campaign with the cooperations from the community Police...aren't you the least doubtful...why how they can substantiate their statistics to the Public...IF they were NOT true...???

Oh btw...don't want this to sound cynical or something like that...but we really need ALL the LUCK we can get...

So please continue to spare Orchi or the rest with more of it...TQ.

If I get a 'Banana' out from this, it is worthwhile, coz' everyone must REALISE that even if we provide the 'Hardwares' (ie. patrol vehicles), the police admitted in the dialogue session that they are still lacking in 'Softwares' (ie. standardised SOPs) & 'Peopleware' (ie. manpower, competent trained drivers).
Err dear Nina...you are still dwelling on the weaknesses of the Police force...n much of that comes from the administration which you may have voted in for...so how? Where do you suggest we go from here...? n how can you contribute to improve that...?

(Source : Quoted from the recent Police Dialogue Session).

Is it really the "LACK of Hardwares" (ie. patrol vehicles) the main contributing factor for the high crime rates in SJ/USJ ???
Err...the OCPD was speaking from his situations faced at the IPD Subang Jaya(Seri Kembangan)...n NOT specifically that of USJ 8 Balai n SS17 Balai...So if you care to call his numbers to find out more...one would be provided to you...n you can either go there to obtain his confirmation or you would have to try your best to trust the Press release...issued recently by your ADUN.

Err...becareful there Nina...you were NOT part of this at all...please do NOT try to spin it to reflect your doubts n whatever dissatisfaction that you may have...on the efforts of those involved in it...

Err...thank you for clearing that point out with regards to the on going SJ ALERT programme...

Err...if you asked Orchi...Orchi doesn't think you are wrong to be doubtful...but just that you may be naive about what's going...n that of good intentions n efforts from the organising committee...

Your points however are taken by Orchi n the rest positively...n 'we' hope you can further contribute whatever or however you see fit to do so...

So when you are ready with more...just start by returning to Orchi's phone call...n Orchi would be obliged to find whatever answers that you wish for...to the best of Orchi's ability...n start to get things moving in reality instead as you have put forth...ratherthan 'us' just talking in the forum...

Err...Orchi just received a call from MOYSC...n from our 'good' conversation...Orchi gathers from her n agree that more needs to be done asap...n put aside any misunderstandings in order to move on...

n she even suggested that she would NOT object to a proposal for a campaign to donate 'vehicles' for the SJ ALERT programme...

How could I have missed this statement of the day?

Folks, if we all have nothing better to do than just sit and look for agendas and self-interests behind every action, nothing will ever get done because we will find what we want to find.

As I said before, how about a letter-writing campaign....

    Here's my version.

One of the more surprising pieces of information that came out of the recent Subang Jaya Police-Community Dialgoue was that the police are seriously challenged because they do not have enough personnel and vehicles.

I wonder how embarassed Subang Jaya OCPD Muhammad Fuad Taib must have felt when he informed the residents that he had access to only 4 police vehicles to patrol a community of over 300,000 people.

The people of the Subang Jaya and USJ communities have responded quickly to the needs of the police, contributing to the Wheels for Cops programme.

The goal of the programme is to raise RM90,000 for the purchase of four Perodua Kembaras for the Police force to use in the Subang Jaya and USJ areas.

It is disappointing that we have, for a long time, refused to invest in our police force. The police need more vehicles, more officers, better equipment, and more respect than we have given them recently.

We as a society must realize that we must invest in our police force and give them the support that they need, if there is a hope to reducing crime rates.

It is time for all Malaysians to reinvest in our communities.
    Sincerely....

You are free to use this letter or something like it. Let's flood the newspapers, councils, party offices, ADUNs and MPs, with our concerns.

    Cheers, m

What do you say folks ?
Err...now this is interesting...as much as Orchi was told by the Police...one need to apply n subscribe to this service...n pay a certain monthly fee to the Police...for them to do so...subject to their evaluation n approval under certain conditions or existing circumstances...

Now assuming that you could get the Police to do that to your home...please try to get ALL them affected residents together on your own...derive the means to monitor who is willing to do what...n who is willing to pay how much...n start to put your proposal plan to work...

Then round them residents up...n make a MASSIVE application n subscribtion exercises to the service with the Police...

n IF the Police has the means to consider n approve to the applications of ALL the residents concerned...

You would have to get EVERYBODY there to source for the blue-boxes...pens n register books and get them all fixed to their front gates of those homes concerned...

Very well done indeed...n you would have to get EVERYBODY to pay up on time to the Police on the monthly basis...so as the service from the Police would NOT be interrupted...from time to time. - Eg. Like somebody mentioned in the recent Police Dialogue...he has a Blue Box since 2 years ago in front of his...n the Police came to register at it initially BUT NEVER turn up thereafter...so what happened? Orchi can tell you what happened...HE HAS NOT BEEN PAYING HIS MONTHLY FEES TO THE POLICE...period!

So PROVIDED again...the POLICE has the means to do so for ALL affected residents to begin with...for such of your proposal to work...to all affected residents in USJ and Subang Jaya...

Assuming 80,000 to 100,000 households in all...n 10% of these are what you so called corner lots owners...so you have to approach 8,000 or 10,000 of these folks to agree to your proposal...n then what...you have to assume that they would do it...for the sakes of the other non-paying residents who lives between the corner lots houses...otherwise they might just ask the rest to share their monthly costs...wouldn't they? Can you get everybody to agree...?

So when we do for a little donation campaign to get some patrol vehicles for the community Police...also we are faced with some difficulties...

n when we do for a little campaign to get residents to join a community SMS service programme...also we are faced with some difficulties...

n when we do for a little protest to get residents to join in the protest to fight for our rights to have a piece of Balai Reserved land protected against the greedy commercial developers...also we faced with some difficulties...

n when we do for a little campaign to get immediate neighbours to pay monthly for PRIVATE security service...also we faced with some difficulties...

n when we do for a little effort to get our backlanes all fenced up to deter thieves n what not...also we faced with some difficulties...

n when we do a massive neighborhood campaign for neighbourwatch groups...also we faced with plenty of difficulties...

Therefore...why don't you start n DO the campaign to propose what you just suggested to all the affected residents in the community...

Be certain that Orchi for one would be right behind working for you...
