actually, i just got to www.fourianonline.proboards84.com . It's another forum. Well, the fact that your URL lead me to some registration without telling me what it was all about really worried me cause I don't want my password to be stolen

I have the same password for bank, ATM, email, door access code, alarm, car alarm, phone, PDA, etc. etc.

"We want the community to treat 3C as their second home.
The above is the message the "wajah baru" Child Creativity Complex or better known as 3C is conveying when they opened their doors yesterday to public as scheduled.

This 2 hectares complex has four floors and took in its first intake of 23 children aged between three- and five-years-old. Incidentally, all the children belong to staff of MPSJ. A second batch of 30 children will move in pretty soon. I hope this is not going to be the exclusive conclave for MPSJ.

If you care to explore the complex, you will find three types of classes - outdoor, indoor, and after class. The outdoor comprises a mini field with playground equipment and a messy room where children are given the freedom to paint and play with colours.

Going indoor segment you will find a Learning Class, Handicraft Room, Music Class, Storytelling Room for puppet shows and storytelling sessions, a Play Area and Exercise Area meant for aerobics and physical exercise, a Library and the Sleeping Room for the children to take a short nap after lunch. Sounds like a interesting place as it seem to have something to offer to everyone. Meanwhile, a cafeteria is also located on each floor.

Under the second phase, the teenagers will find themselves at home as there will be free workshop and students can participate in motivational and science activities. It indeed is a home where cooking and sewing workshops are available to adults but unfortunately there is no details came with it. The 3C will conduct daily workshop for library activities and Islamic Art and Architecture. An Uzbek craftsman will teach students above 12 how to design craftwork using mathematical formula. And the disable children are not forgotten as there is a special room for them under Phase 2.

There are exam classes where examination-bound students can attend while plans are also underway to conduct tuition classes. Slotted in are creative arts and design courses like interior design, graphic arts, and photography, as well as skills courses like fine embroidery and weaving. All this looks good on paper. Let us see how this is going to benefit those who enrolled. Come November, they will be ready to take in mothers and housewives. It looks like househusband may have to wait for Phase 10.

And finally an art gallery occupying all four storeys is set to open for public viewing by August 15 which is just two weeks from now. Time really flies now. The complex was opened to the public from yesterday. Entry to the complex is via Gate 1 (from Jalan PJS 11/2).

For information, call the MPSJ Hypermedia Library at 03-8024 2704.
