    why the double standard??

I watched the protest on TV by our so called Oxford PM to be.....what a shame? Burning the Israeli and American flags to me are bad-mannered acts and should be ashamed. Peaceful protest should be ok...but when it gets aggresive.the police should act. On the contrary, the peaceful demo on the fuel price increase was greeted by water jets from the FRU trucks...and in this case..no action was taken...As long as demo by UMNO (I mentioned UMNO and not the govt because if MCA or gerakan were to organise any demo, they will be dealt with the same fate as the opposition)..its ok..What crap!

You called that Oxford quality ? That's a disgrace to the to the Institution. More suited to UPM I would say. Getting very doubtful if he really went there.
Protest Ok..but can't he do something original...burning flags..how primitive and old fashion, as if US or Isreal or whoever give a sh!t

Police fairness in bolehland ? Is that the lastest joke ?

Khairy together with about 200 supporters was able to push their way past the FRU line. ...... SO EASY AS THAT, WHERE WAS THE POLICE ENFORCEMENT ? WHY DIDN'T THEY USE BATON & WATER-CANON ON THEM ?

And inspite of Police personnel moved in to form a human chain in front of the entrance to the convention centre, Khairy and a handful of supporters managed to get through ........... HOW COME THEY COULD PENETRATE THE POLICE HUMAN-CHAIN THAT EASILY ?

The crowd were allowed to squat outside the entrance for two hours.
WHY WAS THE POLICE SO PATIENT WITH THE RULY CROWD FOR TWO LONG HOURS ?

Compare the above scenario - Burning of flags & effigy by unruly crowd yesterday with another incident at KLCC where peaceful protestors exercising their right to Fuel increase were whacked & injured by the Police, this is truly "DOUBLE STANDARD" !!!

Oh... Now I get what's going on

I guess one must be a VIP in order to get the "double standard" treatment.

Have you seen Ministers being "Ops Warta" for not paying their traffic fines ?

This is getting too unbearably much. Bring on the ELECTIONS!

Oh, btw, since most Malaysians have a short memory, perhaps one of us should remember to remind everyone when the time approaches.

I personally do not think that M'sians hv short memory. Its just that the most of us are easily swayed by what's reported in the media.

If we keep making judgements/conclusions from what we see or hear from the media, no wonder most of us cannot think straight!
