An eye for an eye solution sometimes may be bad.

It's easy to hurt people. but, the question is, will they hurt you back ?
No no. the question is also, will they hurt your family back ?
or your property ? etc. ?

Houses with 20 ft width and below have this common problem. 22ft width is better but it still happens. To avoid this problem, buy a 26 ft width house and there is ample space for everyone. Better still, buy a semi-D or a bungalow.

I had a friend who faced the similar problem. He scolded the neighbour who is a Chinese. Guess what did his neighbour do ? the neighbour gave him a Buddisht bible or some sort and asked him to read it and to be patient.

    HAHA

guess what? my friend wasn't patient alrite.
during his rukun tetanga rounds, he and his buddies were drinking. When he passed by his neighbour's house, he peed on his neighbour's car

    haha

so the police came and 'saman' the car and called a tow truck to tow the car away but remember, from then on, it will be extremely difficult to live together anymore

I like the idea of a 5-ton lorry! Or either go to the police, or get a lawyer. i can recommend one living near subang.

just remember the caveat: DO NOT START ANYTHING UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO FINISH IT...

thats my advice. Though I luvvvv the loan of a 5-ton lorry or bas sekolah parked outside you know where lah ..

This passive offensive-defense is good for those who do not believe in n-i-4-n-i approach...

Me? I will !@#%^&*&#($#U99S%@#*N066*^&@%@(X%$!^ your pea-brain out! and then we let the law to sort it all out.

Yes. It will be extremely difficult. Imagine your neighbour putting a spycamera to snap a photo of you doing illegal stuff like while in the car talking on the phone, etc. and then asking her another good friend police to saman back

Once someone complains, then, the "anger", "tension" would be felt between two parties. First try to resolve amicably. if not, only complain to relevant authourities

Talking about The Stars story, why not phone Malay Mail ?
I think they have a section (not the online one) that helps people with problems

Looks like our friend has done all he could. It appears that there are only three options left. Sato, please consider these options. They are:

    1. Rent a trailer and park it in front of offending neighbours' gate. And when they start barking at you, you say calmly that your dog has swallowed the key somehow. Suggest for them to wait for the dog to *hi* first and if they were impatient, they could watch over the dog for you and inform you once he starts to s*it. This should give them a taste of their own medicine in more ways than one.

    2. Take cough mixture. Appear drowsy. Ram into offending car 'unintentionally'. Then let the insurance fellas take care of it. (as suggested by a forumer; love it!)

    3. Take complaint to the cops.

Oh, about plan no.2, just before the collision, don't forget to say 'Hasta La Vista, Baby!' and say it with the Arnold accent, for added satisfaction.

Do you think they will do that for individuals?

I also have some inconsiderate neighbours as well. There's a family opposite who insist on parking theirs cars outside in front of their neighbour's house. They have done up their driveway nicely, expensive tiles, beautiful ornamental gates, but they don't park the cars inside. Always park outside, keeping their own entrance clear, and sometimes block up half the road with the poor parking, and sometimes with the car end sticking still out to 2/3rds of the road.
One day kena front screen smashed by don't know which neighbour. Behaved nicely for a short while after that.
But now back to old habits again......sigh.
