According to URL http://idealis-mahasiswa.net/editor2...ayar00151.html (written in BM), the security guard who was involved in the fight was merely questioning the student.
Based on URL http://idealis-mahasiswa.net/editor2...ayar00151.html , I quote the following,
so if they didn't leave, that doesn't give anyone the right to behave in a hooligan mannerWalaupun sudah diminta bersurai oleh pihak keselamatan namun sikap angkuh dan ingkar penganjur telah menimbulkan penglibatan sekumpulan pelajar yang baru sahaja pulang daripada bermain ragbi.
The conclusion made from mahasiswa.net is as follows:-
So, if this was planned, then, was the hooliganism act planned as well ?apa yang boleh disimpulkan daripada indiden tersebut, provokasi dan pencerobohan itu sememangnya dirancang dan terancang oleh pihak luar
What about the shoe smelling act? was it planned as well ?
And was the act of causing another student to fall down by pulling his chair planned as well ?
Ok. If you guys read http://idealis-mahasiswa.net/editor2...ayar00151.html, there is a comment from Nur Aidah and her email is published there ( firstname.lastname@example.org )
Her comment is as follows: -
So, there we have someone (a witness) who says she is embarassed that the hooligan students were giving the "FINGER". She also says that the Editor is writing something that is "distorted"!!Saya berada di tempat kejadian semasa semua ni berlaku, memang malu dengan bangsa sendiri yang menjerit and mununjukkan jari tengah. Mana pergi budi bahasa bangsa kita? kita perlu memberi amaran kepada pelajar yang menimbulkan kekacauan untuk mengebalikan marauh banga kita yang sepatutnya berbudi bahasa. Editor, GM..mengapa menulis artikel yang mengelirukan and tak tepat!?
Gee, I can even find UPM's video clip on Youtube.com.
Just go to Youtube.com and type UPM
They even have a nick for UPM i.e. University Perganasan Malaysia, University Violecne Malaysia, Unit Pengganas Malaysia (Malaysian Terrorist Unit), University Producing Monkeys, etc.

It just keeps getting better.
Somebody commented that the UPM fight video as follows: -
so apparently, this guy was there and he claims that the video was manupilated.korang yang tengok video tu yang tertipu sebenarnya..
janganlah cepat melatah..
and the other girl ( Nur Aidah ) who was there claims she is embarassed by the hooligans.
So who is the trouble maker now ?
The hooligans or the ones who had been keeping queit ?
I keep thinking about the 50 students that went holigan-ing. The number 50 reminds me of this article from jeffooi.com i.e. ( http://www.jeffooi.com/2006/03/parli...p_loh_seng.php )
Here, Mr. Loh Seng Kok was visited by some 50 people. A surprise visit that is.
The above happened sometime in 2006 March.some 50 Umno Youth members, led by Kelana Jaya division chief Abdul Halim Samad, paid Loh a surprise visit at his Subang Jaya service centre at about 9.30pm
The MP was also purportedly told that Umno Youth would “take action” if he failed to respond to the letter within several days. Some in the group had brought along video cameras to record the brief meeting.
So did our 50 UPM students imitate / adopt this?
in this new video, at about 49 / 50 Seconds after playing, you can see the BIG bully showing his two Third Fingers!!Originally Posted by swee_ann_tweety

So, who says these clowns are unemployable ?
Sorry, did you say " nobody in their right mind" Soli, soli...missed that
OKAY, enough with all the remarks and name-calling already.
Next one doing it and I close this thread.
Correction. I would hire that guy with the biggest build who shouted "BELAH BELAH BELAH". That is if I am in the army.Originally Posted by wira wan

I am not saying that I condone with his actions but since you mentioned that nobody would hire those who caused the commotion..........
We will just have to wait for the outcome of the investigation.
Hopefully it would turn out to be fair.
If any of the students (victims and victimisers) get expelled, their future would be rather vague as they may find difficulties in finishing their degree. Of course we have heard of people who succeeded without a degree but nowadays, I think a degree is a must.
OK. no name callings from now on thenOriginally Posted by kwchang
Just saw in the news that UPM has investigated the incident internally and found this to be a "perkara kecil" and the 11 students will be "diberi nasihat". Added something to the effect that security will be tightened and outsiders not to be involved.
What kinda of signal does this show? I would rather this happen in UTAR and the roles are reversed...perhaps then it will be a big issue
