    Oxidised metal on pens

You know the problem - you leave your good pens in a corner unused and after awhile, the metal loses its shine and have a harsh feel to it. I guess it's caused by moisture and oxygen.

Anyone knows how best to get the shine back? I have quite a number of good pens that have this problem.

Polish it with any good car polish/wax or use Autosol.

You can use toothpaste to polish the tarnish pens to its original condition.

Dip in Coke or Pepsi to remove the harsh spots then polish and coat with a layer of protective wax.

Thanls, all for the suggestion. Will try each one and let you all know. But don't hold your breath - I can procrastinate - I'm famous for that.
